Enhanced excellent Beverley record with a brace of wins over 9.9f in June/July. Latest efforts suggest the assessor may just have him, for this this is a slight drop back in class.
Off the mark in first-time blinkers in 9-runner handicap at Wolverhampton in February. Nicely clear of the rest and better than ever when runner-up on turf debut at Newmarket in June.
Sole win gained in a 7f nursery at Carlisle 2 years ago. Runner-up in a brace of hurdles contests in 2020 for new yard and down to a career-low mark.
Ended lengthy losing run when making all in 13f handicap at Hamilton and excellent second off 5 lb higher at Ayr 3 weeks later. Failed to get home over 2m at Chester 7 days ago.
Maiden winner for Dermot Weld in 2018. Lightly raced and hasn't achieved much for current connections so can only be watched at present.
Promising reappearance/handicap debut when keeping on for fifth at Redcar in June. Didn't fully convince with attitude when runner-up back there last month and now up in trip.
Strong in the betting and showed improved form when landing a C&D handicap a fortnight ago, battling well. 3 lb rise perfectly fair and she should have more to offer.
Up in trip and improved when making a successful handicap debut in 10-runner handicap at Windsor 24 days ago, staying on to lead close home. 5 lb rise could be lenient.
Run of good form came to an end when only thirteenth of 15 in handicap at Haydock (10.2f) 16 days ago. Needs to bounce back tackling this trip for the first time.
Caused an upset when winning 12-runner handicap at Pontefract (12f, good) a month ago, driven out. Backed that up when third at Redcar since but nudged up a further 2 lb.
Forecasts
Prince Alex (9/4), Genesius (11/2), Hooroo (11/2), Let Her Loose (13/2), Sociologist (17/2), Hooflepuff (9/1), Monsaraz (10/1), Flint Hill (12/1), Zihaam (20/1), Manzil (80/1)
PRINCE ALEX displayed a willing attitude when making a successful handicap debut at Windsor 3 weeks ago, and with 2 next-time-out winners coming from that race, the form looks solid. He can therefore overcome a 5 lb rise, perhaps at the chief expense of recent C&D winner Let Her Loose.
- PRINCE ALEX
- LET HER LOOSE (IRE)
- HOOFLEPUFF (IRE)
