Suited by the drop back to 5f when a convincing winner at Musselburgh 24 days ago. Faced competition for the lead and drawn wider than the other previous winners but still much respected.

Fair form. Hampered a crucial stage when third of 4 in nursery at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Looks capable of better still and ought to be bang there.

Forecasts

Black Sparrow (13/8), Ready Freddie Go (3/1), Roydmoor (4/1), Miss Fernanda (15/2), Silent Queen (8/1), Anna Of Savoy (22/1), Waitingonanalibi (28/1), Krystal Maze (66/1), Clady (150/1)

Verdict

ROYDMOOR looked a bit unlucky on his Beverley nursery debut at the beginning of the month and is selected to make the most of the weight he receives from previous winners Ready Freddie Go, Miss Fernanda and Black Sparrow.

  1. ROYDMOOR
  2. READY FREDDIE GO (IRE)
  3. MISS FERNANDA (IRE)
