One or two of these may possess more scope for the longer term, but LONGLAI sets a good standard judged on his latest close third in a Glorious Goodwood maiden. The drop to 6f should be in his favour and he should prove hard to beat. Touchwood is a likely-looking type and may be next best ahead of Inveigle and Beautiful News, both of whom should leave their debut efforts well behind in time.
