Once-raced gelding. 7/2, fourth of 16 in maiden at Cork (10f, good to soft) on debut, best work finish. Off 16 months. Likely to improve.
Fourteenth of 15 in maiden (250/1) at Limerick (12.5f, good) on Flat debut 58 days ago. Lots to find.
Twice-raced colt, and only tenth of 12 in maiden at Galway (7f, good to soft, 33/1) 17 days ago. Significantly up in trip and hard to make a case for.
Last of 18 in maiden (300/1) at Naas (8f, good to firm) on debut 67 days ago. Up in trip but very hard to enthuse over.
20,000 gns yearling, Oasis Dream colt. Half-brother to several winners, including 9f Bathos. Dam 6f winner. Trainer going well so newcomer warrants respect.
Zebedee gelding. Half-brother to 1¼m winner Abby Cadabby and 7f winner Vasiliki. Dam ran once. Appeals on paper but this is no easy introduction.
Fair maiden but below-form fourth of 15 in maiden at Gowran (9.4f) 20 days ago. Possibly found that race coming too quickly so worth another chance here.
Twice-raced gelding. Tenth of 14 in maiden at Dundalk (7f, 100/1) on final run for Jarlath P. Fahey. Lots to prove for new yard after 7 months off.
25/1 and tongue strap on, sixth of 9 in maiden at Naas (10f, good) on debut 23 days ago. Big step forward required if he's to trouble the principals.
Twice-raced gelding. 66/1, eleventh of 16 in maiden at Galway (8.3f, soft) 13 days ago. Back up in trip with others much preferred.
25/1, highly promising debut fourth of 16 in 10f maiden at Naas 11 days ago, staying on well late under tender handling. Cheekpieces on so choicely-bred son of Galileo is most interesting contender.
Remains a maiden after 5 runs but useful colt who was last seen when ninth of 16 to Serpentine in Derby at Epsom (12f) 41 days ago. Leading form claims but there are improvers lurking.
Fair form when second of 8 in minor event (9/4) at Dundalk (8f) 8 months ago when last seen out. Step up in trip will suit so holds place claims.

GAUNTLET has plenty to find on form but there was a lot to like about his recent debut fourth at Naas so this impeccably-bred son of Galileo is fancied to open his account at the chief expense of Gold Maze, a useful maiden but set for a place once more. Avarice and Karbasann appeal as the pick of the remainder.
