Sent off favourite for debut at Lingfield last week over 1m on the AW and having showed signs of greenness at halfway, ran on in the closing stages to finish 4L third of 10. Extra yardage here a plus and should have improvement to come.
100/1 for Haydock debut last week but showed no immediate promise when beating just one home and would need to take a dramatic step forward to play a part.
280,000 gns yearling. Dam won and Group 1 placed as a two-year-old. Full brother to Eminent who won a Group 1 over 1m2f and was fourth in the Derby. Bred to be smart and market should give a guide with stable also running Chase That Dream.
Dam won on debut here and is a full brother to Mildenberger who won on debut and is smart up to 2m. In-form yard can ready a newcomer and interesting to see what the market makes of him.
8L fourth of five on 7f Newmarket debut in a race dominated by Godolphin runners, but on breeding this longer trip will suit as she is related to winners at 1m2f and debut has thrown up winners already. Sure to play a prominent role.
Forecasts
Envega (9/4), King Frankel (11/4), Surprise Exhibit (3/1), Chase That Dream (5/1), Summer Power (11/1), Jack Bean (40/1)
ENVEGA showed enough on her debut last month and with this longer trip sure to suit, she can get off the mark at the second attempt. Newcomers Summer Power and King Frankel make plenty of appeal on paper and the betting should clues as to what is expected, and Chase That Dream shaped nicely at Lingfield with the promise of more to come with that experience under his belt.
