Turf winner at Bath (5½f, good to firm; 5-2f) from a mark of 98 in April 2019; twice shaped with purpose in three starts this season and could have a big run in him if taking to the artificial surface on first attempt.
Three-winner on the all-weather; latest at Wolverhampton in March over 6f from a mark of 88. Well held recently at Ascot on first start for new trainer but could get competitive now.
Impressive AW record has yielded five win in 13 starts; yet to win here but has run well. Only beaten 1½L at Southwell over this trip in March when last spotted; market should act as a decent guide on return.
Has done most of his winning on turf but capable on the all-weather too; not far behind El Hombre despite being sixth of eight at Wolverhampton in March on previous start. Entitled to need this run.
Gained third AW win at Chelmsford in January over this trip (3-9 on AW now but yet to run here); likely all the sharper for recent return to action on turf at Thirsk and should be very competitive.
Best form has come on AW, winning a novice at Chelmsford in September, and good second at Wolverhampton in October; withdrawn at Newmarket recently but was a winner in the Middle East in January. Stable in good form and commands close look.
Five-time winner on turf from 29 starts; decent start for this trainer off a layoff when fourth at Newmarket in June but not as pleasing since at Haydock (5f, good to soft; 11-2). First time encountering all-weather surface.
2-4 since returning to action this term; winning at Leicester (6f, good) and Haydock (6f, soft); fair effort since at Newmarket in stronger contest than this one and not one to dismiss in haste returned to the all-weather.
Winner here last year over 7f; two decent efforts in June/July over that trip after winter layoff and much-improved at Windsor since when dropped to 6f; scoring decisively. Unexposed at this trip and could have plenty more to offer.
All five career wins have been over 5f (on turf and all-weather); not looked much like winning in three runs this year, albeit this is less demanding than last month's Ascot handicap over 5f.
Twice scored over 7f at Wolverhampton and Chelmsford in summer of 2018; off the track since early 2019 and probably best watched on return unless the market has something positive to say.

He's up 6lb for a pleasing win at Windsor 16 days ago but the way in which MAY SONIC quickened away suggests Charlie Hills' four-year-old may have scope for better at this distance. He's unexposed at the trip and is already a course winner; so there's lots in his favour. Top Breeze has been in decent form on the turf and is a player while El Hombre, Last Surprise and Storm Over are all considered in an open event.
