Forecasts

Laggata (9/4), Orchid Gardens (10/3), Lady Hanson (7/2), Koola Buala (5/1), Rosa Albertine (5/1), Bells Of Thyme (25/1), Gamely Insistent (28/1), Sure Cert (33/1), Atlantique (80/1), Van Wert (100/1), Bolero (100/1), Approachcautiously (150/1), Eala Dubh (200/1), Little Sophie (250/1), Rebel Ruler (300/1)

Verdict

Preference is for the Mick Halford-trained, ORCHID GARDENS. The daughter of Muhaarar, can get off the mark at the sixth time of asking for connections following a couple of solid efforts at the Curragh since racing resumed in June. The Fozzy Stack-trained, Koola Bula, looks the likeliest danger, running with great credit in three career starts so far including a couple at Tipperary and Leopardstown last month. Lady Hanson and Laggata appear the best of those with experience while Bells Of Thyme could be worth a check in the market on debut.
