Made a good start to her career winning both of her first two starts (6f novice events) before running creditably on handicap debut (lost unbeaten record). Early form may not be as smart as mark suggests, early days though and in good hands.
Attracted support when making a winning start to her 3yo career in a Pontefract 6f maiden (formed franked since). Nowhere near the same form on handicap debut at Thirsk off this mark last time, needs to bounce back on first try at 7f.
Fair efforts in three 7f outings as a 2yo; placed on last two of those starts. Not seen to best effect on sole 3yo start (handicap debut) at Chepstow looking as though she would be suited by further, mark looks to ask a stiff question.
Showed improved form on her penultimate start (even better than her nursery win over 7f on heavy) with a sound second at Doncaster to a progressive type. Below-par at Sandown last time, race not run to suit, may prefer a softer surface (visor on).
Twice a 2yo winner in minor company defying a penalty for the second win over 7f. Failed in nursery company after that, hard to fault her two handicap efforts this year under positive rides, mark looks about right though, others have stronger claims.
Failed to last home when friendless in the market over 8.1f last time (handicap debut) having started favourite in a 6f maiden on reappearance. Looks worth a try over this trip with a first-time hood on given the potential she's shown previously.
Flopped badly when making her handicap debut at Sandown 7f (well found in the market) beating just one home on quick ground. Lacked experience (only two previous starts) for such a test, early days though, in good hands, cheekpieces now go on.
Less exposed than her rivals when going one better than her previous start at Pontefract over 6f last time to win her first handicap. Well suited by the strong pace (picked her way through), up 3lb, still has more to offer, leading claims.
Newcastle AW nursery winner in October off a 2lb higher mark she's got nowhere near that form since with her two runs this year being a big disappointment. Only beaten one rival home in two starts, plenty to prove at present and of limited interest.
Forecasts
Eternal Blush (3/1), Nirodha (5/1), Evening Spirit (5/1), Grace And Virtue (6/1), Magical Moment (6/1), Zoohoor (17/2), Quick Recap (10/1), Parikarma (12/1), Holloa (80/1)
Just the 3yo’s represented in this 3yo plus handicap which suggests that a few of these could be reasonable handicapped. GRACE AND VIRTUE looks a better model this year after a wind op and although the race went her way at Pontefract last time she still showed good form to beat some sound if rather exposed older performer. Only a winner by a narrow margin she still looks at the right end of the handicap. Zoohoor despite running below-par on her handicap debut will know more this time especially with the cheekpieces going on. Eternal Blush could just find this mark a tough one and Magical Moment and Quick Recap despite both having to bounce back hold a little more appeal.
- Grace And Virtue
- Zoohoor
- Magical Moment
