Lightly-raced 4yo, made a promising debut in July at Lingfield/AW, 6f just looking short on experience. Raced too freely when upped to 7f on turf debut at Doncaster last time off a quick turnaround, now makes his handicap debut, this reveals more.
Ended last year with an AW victory looking back to his best, grabbing a third win of the campaign. Yet to fire this season, failing to recapture any of last years enthusiasm off a falling mark, found little at York last time, best watched.
Not disgraced last time at York but it's becoming worrying that the losing run continues to mount and he's proving expensive to follow. Not an easy mover through his races (worth a try in blinkers/visor), needs to take advantage of sliding mark.
Wind the clock back to his time with Ed Walker and he could be considered useful over sprint trips, won a couple for that yard. Struggled to show any form for this yard on the AW since joining then, now reverts to turf with doubts still remaining.
Useful on his day recording wins in each of the last three years, yet to hit his stride this season. Shaped better than final finishing position the last twice especially over 6f at Pontefract last time, easing down the weights, worth considering.
Took advantage of dropping to his lowest-ever mark to regain the winning thread last time at Chepstow (6.1f); first win in over two years. Only edged up 1lb for that win so remains on a competitive mark having won off higher in the past.
In good form last year winning three times in his first five starts over 5f/6f (all off higher marks than he runs off here). Held his form without winning again, struggled for form this year (post wind op), new yard have a good mark to work with.
Good record at Southwell, last three wins coming there, not disgraced since resumption back on turf. better than she could really show over 5f here last time. This 6f will prove more suitable off a mark which is equivalent to her last winning one.
In good form last year, won twice including on stable debut over 6f before ending the season on a downward spiral. Again ran well fresh this year at Redcar (6f), well backed, disappointed twice on soft ground since, potentially on a good mark.
Speedy sort and whilst he hasn't won this year has on occasions looked a well-treated sort. Recorded a good second at Catterick (7f) last time, making the running, caught close home, should be competitive again off this mark.
Ayr 7.2f winner last year off a 3lb higher mark, struggled a little after that victory ending the year on a downward curve. Shaped as if better for the run (after wind op) on return, too free last time over further here, back in trip off fair mark.
Dual sprint winner early last year (both times off higher marks), ultimately ended last season under a cloud. Yet to really get going this year although there were some glimmers of promise last time at Ayr (dropped in grade), needs others to falter.

Not an easy contest to unravel with several on dangerous looking handicap marks if they were to bounce back to form. That group would include Mark’s Choice on his stable debut for Sam England, the hard to win with Normandy Barriere (has won over C&D) and Galloway Hills although he may be better when fresh. Queen Of Kalahari proved that her AW progress could be maintained at York last time finishing third in a better class race than this back on turf and she sets a fair standard along with the consistent Redrosezorro. ICONIC KNIGHT took advantage of a drop in the weights at Chepstow to win narrowly last time he’s taken to win again off an advantageous mark compared to his past wins.
