Sea The Moon colt shaped well despite showing signs of greenness when 2L third in 7f Chelmsford novice on debut 37 days ago (second won since). Needs to improve slightly but goes on the shortlist.
Dubawi colt. Brother to useful 1m5½f-1m6½f winner Calculation. Dam, 1m4f-2m4f winner, half-sister to high-class 1m4f-2m4f winner Enzeli and very smart 1m2f-1m7½f winner Ebadiyla. Yard 2-8 with juveniles this term; respected.
Made a promising debut at Sandown (7f, good; 11-2) last month, staying on in the manner of one would appreciate further despite showing signs of inexperience. Looks a certain improver, leading chance.
115,000 gns foal; brother to winners Havana Grey (5f including two-year-old/Group 1) and Havana Ooh Na Na (7f AW); well held on debut in strong Kempton maiden over 6f in June. More to come on turf bow.
2,000 gns yearling, Sepoy gelding. Half-brother to three winners, including useful 7f-1m2d winner Perfect Cracker and useful two-year-old 6f winner Tanseeb. Others preferred here.
Unraced Awtaad colt and a half-brother to a couple of winners. Represents top connections and is an interesting runner on his first racecourse appearance (missed an intended engagement here last week).
Kodiac colt, full-brother to 1m winner My Dear Friend and half-brother to several winners; beaten 11¾L on debut at Sandown (7f, good; 20-1) when beating only one home. Big step up required.
40,000 gns yearling, Camelot gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including smart 7f/1m winner Early Morning and useful 2m winner Aurora Gray; yard in form but 0-16 with juveniles this season.
Forecasts
Forever Forward (11/8), Arsonist (11/4), Raajil (6/1), Kawaalees (8/1), Stigwood (9/1), Evaluation (14/1), Summer's Knight (66/1), Marta Boy (200/1)
This is a good opportunity for FOREVER FORWARD to go one better after a narrow defeat on debut on Sandown last month. A relatively rare runner on the level for these owners, he looked somewhat green (pardon the pun) in that run but came clear with the winner. With that experience banked the Exceed And Excel colt ought to take the beating. Arsonist shaped nicely on debut at Chelmsford and is next best of those with form while newcomers Evaluation and Raajil need a look, with the latter more suited by this test on paper.
