Gives weight away all round but is a very talented sort at this level & proved his wellbeing when scoring over 7f for the first time at Fairyhouse (7f; good to yielding). Outstanding claims again back at this optimum trip.
Solid form in defeat on first three starts this season. The trip was probably to blame when he ran a lesser race over 7f at this track last time out. Not discounted and has legitimate place claims back at this trip.
Continues on his upward curve & built upon second in French Group Three to win a competitive conditions race at Newcastle (6f; standard) last weekend. Interesting move by connections to pitch up in this contest & he should be firmly involved.
Not disgraced when only able to finish in midfield in a typically competitive renewal of the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood (6f; good to firm). Represented himself well in similar races before that, including when second over C&D two starts ago.
Denied by narrow margin when second to Speak In Colours over C&D two starts ago. 5lb better off with that rival but she failed to justify market expectations when seventh at Naas (6f; good) last time out. Ground to make up with Millisle.
Upped significantly in class into group company for the first time after being denied a short-head in the Rockingham Handicap over 5f at this track when last seen. Tries 6f for the first time but has a fair bit to find on these terms.
Improving at a rapid rate of knots. Recorded fourth career success when fending off strong finishing favourite to win over 7f at this track in competitive handicap last month. First foray into group company but is respected.
Regained the winning thread in some style when cruising clear of toiling rivals to record a four-length success at Naas (6f; good). Comes out extremely well on these terms and she is the one to beat in follow-up bid.
Unenviable task on her hands to reverse form with Millisle who she was well held by at Naas (6f; good) when sixth of 10. That was a lesser effort after her second in 'Listed' company at Cork (6f; good). Difficult to make a case for.

Millisle (1/1), Speak In Colours (4/1), Sonaiyla (11/2), Glen Shiel (12/1), Gulliver (12/1), Buffer Zone (16/1), Forever In Dreams (18/1), Jungle Jane (50/1), Schroders Mistake (50/1), Back To Brussels (80/1)
After finding the highly talented Art Power too good two starts ago, MILLISLE built upon that encouraging effort to go one better in emphatic fashion when returning to winning ways at Naas. She will be very hard to beat on these terms, but Speak In Colours is not one to rule out quickly. He is a reliable yardstick at this level and despite having to concede weight away all round he is a smooth traveller who should be firmly on the scene returned to his favoured trip. Of the remainder, the improving pair of Glen Shiel and Sonaiyla have earned their place in this contest and it would be no surprise to see them feature prominently too.
- Millisle
- Speak In Colours
- Glen Shiel
