Nicely-related Kodiac filly won a 6f Curragh maiden (good; 7-1) on debut in June; second ran well next time/fifth won next start. Goes up in trip and class for Dermot Weld and respected.

Off the mark at fourth time of asking when landing 13-runner Limerick maiden over just shy of this trip 20 days ago; trainer looks to have clear chance with Snowfall in this.

Runner-up both starts in maidens at Naas (6f, good to yielding; 6-4f) and Navan (5½f, yielding; 8-11f) so far; open to further progress upped in distance but the No Nay Never filly will almost certainly need it.

Australia filly made a winning start over C&D in June on good ground with Meala in third and the second/sixth were next-time-out winners. Bossed it from the front then. Seemingly the choice of Shane Foley over No Speak Alexander.

Lawman filly made a pleasing start when taking a Bellewstown maiden (1m, yielding; 2-1) by 5L last month with Finest back in fifth; form looks reliable and player again now.

More than 4L down on Oodnadatta on debut in June in finishing sixth of seven over C&D; good winner of soft-to-heavy ground mile maiden at Gowran Park since and can progress again to be competitive.

Failed to meet expectations on first two starts but more like it when winning a Curragh maiden (7f, good to yielding; 8-13f) since; needs to avoid a ponderous start now stepped up in class.

Built on promising debut when ½L third in 6f Curragh maiden won by A Ma Chere in June; can take another stride forward going up in trip/class but needs it to be a sizeable one to register in this company.

Forecasts

Pretty Gorgeous (2/1), Snowfall (3/1), Oodnadatta (3/1), No Speak Alexander (7/1), Hazel (8/1), Meala (8/1), A Ma Chere (10/1), Shale (14/1), Finest (50/1), Takeko (50/1)

Verdict

Oodnadatta dominated from the front on debut when winning over C&D in June, with MEALA back in third. That form has worked out well, with the selection being of three subsequent winners to emerge. The manner in which Jim Bolger's filly scored at Galway last week was impressive visually and on the clock and she may reverse form with Shane Foley's mount here. Snowfall, A Ma Chere and Pretty Gorgeous all have scope to improve and be involved.
