Winner of three of his last four starts in 2019 including a 2m handicap on the all-weather at Lingfield in October. Raised 8lb for that victory and is one for the shortlist dropping in trip on seasonal reappearance.
Finished third on each of his last four starts including over 1m4f at Thirsk (good) last week. Races off the same mark here and holds strong claims stepping up in distance.
Making his first appearance since wind surgery when finishing fifth over an extended 2m at York (good-to-firm) recently. Probably best watched at present.
Built on a couple of promising efforts this Flat season when winning over 1m5f at Ayr (good) last time out. Raised 3lb for that triumph and is a notable runner with the extra furlong here likely to suit.
Disappointing in three starts since winning on debut for this yard in December including when 16L 11th over 2m at Kempton last month when returning from a break. Now back to his last winning mark.
Decent efforts in defeat so far this campaign including when fifth in first time cheekpieces (absent here) in a 1m6f handicap at Haydock (soft) just under a month ago. Interesting to see how she performs.
Broke her maiden with victory in a 1m3f all-weather maiden at Kempton in June. Held seventh over 1m4f there subsequently and is worth a check in the market upped in trip on handicap debut.
Placed twice from nine starts including when runner-up in a firm ground 1m6f handicap at Bath last month. Interesting runner despite a 2lb rise in the weights.
Performed well on her first two starts this campaign but struggled when 17L last of five upped to 2m at Beverley (good-to-firm) last time out. Drop in trip should see her in a better light.
Forecasts
The Navigator (16/5), Champagne Terri (9/2), Well Funded (9/2), Road To Paris (9/2), Armandihan (15/2), Hey Gracie (12/1), Lady Scatterley (12/1), Baladio (20/1), Rasaasy (40/1)
Top weight ROAD TO PARIS is taken to make a winning seasonal debut in this staying handicap. The selection hails from a good yard and he can get the better of last time out winner Champagne Terri who can claim second spot stepping up in distance while third place can go to The Navigator who is another stepping up in trip.
- Road To Paris
- Champagne Terri
- The Navigator
