Promising 9L eighth in a 7f maiden at Newbury (soft) when debuting in April last year. Absent since and is probably best watched on stable debut.
Beaten 43L when finishing last of ten in a 1m novice race at Haydock (soft) when making her debut earlier this month. Others hold more obvious claims.
Shaped as if in need of the experience when 15L tenth in a maiden over this trip at Catterick (good) on debut earlier this month. Probably best watched at present.
Unseated rider exiting the stalls on debut at Redcar (7f, good) last month. Sent off at big odds that day and others make more appeal.
Failed to beat a rival home when 17L last of 11 in a 1m maiden at Thirsk (good) on debut last month. Likely to be of more interest once tackling handicaps.
Slowly away and never involved having got loose before the race when finishing 11½L ninth in a 7f novice race on debut at Yarmouth (good-to-firm) last month. Probably best watched at present.
Slowly away and shaped as if she'd improve for the experience when 14L tenth over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton on debut in November. More needed on seasonal reappearance.
Unraced Due Diligence filly and a half-sister to juvenile winner Minneapolis among others. Worth a check in the market on racecourse debut.
Unraced Kodaic filly cost connections €54,000 at the sales as a yearling in October 2018. Hails from a useful stable and is a notable runner on her belated debut.
Improved on debut effort when finishing fifth in a 1m novice race at Newcastle in February. Worth a check in the market switched to turf on her return from a break.
Unraced Canford Cliffs filly and a half-sister to winner Sam Langford. Yard not known for debut winners and looks likely to play a minor role in this contest.
Unraced Sleeping Indian filly out of an unraced mare. Market support would be notable on her first appearance on the track.
Unraced Kitten's Joy filly bought for 50,000 gns as a yearling in autumn 2018. Dam unplaced in the USA and she is an interesting contender on her belated racecourse debut.

Ice Eagle (2/1), Roong Roong (3/1), Turn Of Phrase (7/2), Sarsanet (13/2), Nablawyh (14/1), Stand Free (18/1), Tinker's Lass (25/1), Quiteacatch (33/1), Stealing Silk (33/1), Hungry Helen Hippo (40/1), Emily's Delight (50/1), Another Bond (66/1), Fairy Ring (66/1), Al Simmo (125/1)
TURN OF PHRASE was a relatively expensive yearling purchase and she can get her career off to the perfect start with victory in this fillies' novice event. The selection can get the better of Sarsanet, another purchased at the yearling sales back in 2018 who can claim second spot on debut while third can go to Ice Eagle who is likely to have improved for her debut experience at Yarmouth last month.
- Turn Of Phrase
- Sarsanet
- Ice Eagle
