Front-runner. Shaped well enough in a couple of starts before poor last of 10 at Beverley (7f) last time. Returns to 1m with more needed to win seemingly.

Won a few handicaps last term off the back of some enterprising rides, but in poor form this term. Latest 16L defeat at Thirsk (1m) means a bounce back is required.

Only two wins from 19 starts, but regressed from encouraging third two starts ago when last of 10 in York handicap (1m2f) this month. Seemingly didn't stay the trip that day and better suited to return to 1m.

Only raced three times to date (twice in the UK) and showed signs of promise when 3L fourth in Bath novice (1m) last month. Enters handicap company off high enough mark but remains an unknown.

Only raced the twice to date, improving from each start. Narrow second when last seen at Lingfield (1m) in November and could be plenty more to come from this top yard prospect.

Slightly struggled after winning return at Ayr in 2019, culminating with 3L fourth at Leicester (1m) in September. Back to more capable mark today and does go well when fresh.

Thrice-raced maiden. Put best foot forward on handicap debut when narrow third over C&D last month. In similar contest today off 2lb higher mark so goes on the shortlist.

Five-race maiden. Edged out narrowly on seasonal return over C&D before slightly disappointing third at Hamilton (1m) last month. Returns to this company with some claims on best form.

Yet to go on since narrow defeat on debut last year. No show on seasonal bow at Lingfield (7f, good) in June and likely vulnerable to other improvers in this.

Yet to replicate ability shown on debut last term. Had some excuses when fifth in 1m Bath maiden earlier this month. Into handicap company off very light mark and jockey booking is notable.

Verdict

Plenty of unexposed types venture into this company and it may be worth taking a chance with one in HIBERNIAN WARRIOR. The three-year-old has shown marked improvement in two starts to date against rivals who have some class, his opening mark is also workable enough and there is every chance he could make up into a smart handicapper. Turn On The Charm exceeded expectations in a C&D handicap last time and is rightly treated to go well again by the handicapper, while the likes of Hlaitan and True Believer have shown good promise at this level already and set a benchmark of improvement in this.
