Form of maiden defeat has worked out well and managed to get off the mark in some style in 6f Chepstow maiden this month. Has a 7lb penalty but that sets the form standard. Strong claims.
Related to some smart types and pattern winners, but showed very little when 12L last of eight on debut at Hamilton (6f) this month. This is much tougher altogether. Opposed.
Homebred by Helmet. First foal. Dam was a juvenile winner between 5f and 6f, closely related to Listed winners Dashing Colours (7f) and Dash Of Red (7f). This a tough ask on debut but yard are just hitting a run of form. Worth a check.
€27,500 yearling purchase. Half-sister to winners Lil Grey (Group-placed as a juvenile) and Miss Rosina (5f). Not the most taking pedigree but owner can find a shrewd one.
Hails from a good family line and shaped with promise when fourth of seven on debut at Newcastle (7f) this month. Ought to be better at this trip so not without hope.
Homebred by Exceed And Excel. Closely related to 7f winner Chupalla. Half-sister to 2018 Derby second Dee Ex Bee and dam is a full sister to the outstanding Dubai Millennium (1m2f). One to take a close look at on debut.
75,000 gns purchase. Half-sisters to winners Yulong Gold Fairy (7f) and Frank's Legacy (7f). Dam was a winner over 6f as a juvenile. Notable jockey booking too and notable if there is market support.
Kodiac filly. Shaped with promise but looked caught out by the soft ground when 4L third at Haydock (6f) on debut this month. Has the scope to go on though and looks to be the pick of the yard.
Homebred. Half-sister to winners Winning Streak (6f), Jim Rockford (7f) and Cumbrianna (6f). Has a mix of speed and stamina in pedigree but makes debut in a tough enough contest.
Seventh foal. Half-sister to useful Ripon performer Roundhay Park (5f), Ryeollian (1m) and Dolly Dimples (1m3f winner in Spain). Pedigree also has some hurdles-winning form in it so may do better over further in time.

Forecasts
Mashmoom (13/8), Red Fascinator (11/4), Jumeirah Beach (13/2), Mary Cassatt (8/1), In Paradise (10/1), Three Hat Day (14/1), Hungry For Fashion (16/1), Zahrisa (16/1), Holy Chalice (28/1), Yorkshire Lady (40/1), Harswell Princess (100/1)
This race looks to have plenty of promise about it and the standard by Mashmoon, who is the only winner in the field having scored impressively last time. She will be very hard to beat but could be bogged down by the 7lb penalty. For the debutantes, Jumeirah Beach hails from a regal bloodline and represents the top and in-form connections in the area, while Mary Cassatt has a group-winning pedigree. A chance can be taken with IN PARADISE however, who shaped well enough behind a smart winning sort at Newcastle last time and will be appreciative of this less-stiff 6f trip in front of her.
- In Paradise
- Mashmoom
- Jumeirah Beach
