Top-weight. Never won fresh so likely to improve from recent seasonal reappearance when fourth at Ripon (6f; good to soft). Won over this C&D last May and likely to have a say considering he tends to run in higher grade races.
Yet to win in handicaps. Threatened to take advantage of reduced mark on a couple of occasions last year. Would need to better recent effort when soft ground may have been to blame. Form claims on Doncaster fourth before that (5f; good to firm).
Looked a horse to follow when 2-2 in 2018, so a major disappointment he has been so underwhelming since. Tried this trip at Musselburgh (5f; good) at the start of the month and only beat one home. Dropped another 2lb.
Beginning to look dangerously well-handicapped (18lb below last winning mark) and he showed much more when fourth to an in-form rival at Musselburgh (5f; good) recently. That form has been boosted by the runner-up since. Market check advised.
0-2 on turf, but has improved since going handicapping (on the AW). Worth another chance off 4lb lower mark on turf if able to bounce back from below-par effort at Lingfield (5f; standard to slow). Stable in better form now than they were then.
Mark continues to fall but he has finished out the back on both starts so far this year, so a sudden return to form looks unlikely at the moment. Best watched until he starts to offer more encouragement.
Followed-up Musselburgh (5f; good) third to be beaten just a neck at Bath (5f; firm) last week. Up 2lb but given the form he is in at present, he is still very well-handicapped (7lb below last winning mark).
0-4 in handicap company but has offered more encouragement in defeat the last twice. Booking of in-form apprentice is handy given she claims a handy 3lb. Definite place claims judged on the form she has been in so far this season.
Unable to build on recent Musselburgh third (5f; good) when only sixth at that track last time out. First-time cheekpieces needs to majorly revitalise him after that and others have more going for them than this C&D winner.
Not completely disgraced when posting a lesser effort to finish sixth at Hamilton (5f; good to soft) recently. Only 4lb above the mark he scored off on his seasonal return over C&D and has won off higher marks in the past.

Forecasts
Nibras Again (13/8), Balancing Act (5/1), East Street Revue (5/1), Lezardrieux (7/1), Antagonize (10/1), James Watt (10/1), Burtonwood (14/1), Buniann (14/1), True Hero (20/1), Bashiba (22/1), Royal Brave (25/1)
Another bold showing seems likely from NIBRAS AGAIN and he can regain the winning thread given he has returned to form this summer disappointing last year. He has gone close in defeat the last twice, including when a neck-second last time but he is still chucked in on his old form (last win came off 75). The class dropper East Street Revue is likely to put in an improved performance after he blew the cobwebs away on his seasonal debut last month, while Balancing Act and Burtonwood also have to be considered each-way. One of the more intriguing contenders is Antagonize who is yet to recapture his two-year-old form but has ability and is unexposed at 5f.
- Nibras Again
- East Street Revue
