Bated Breath gelding has tackled sprint trips in three of four maidens thus far, failing to stay in one run at 1m2f; has improvement to find now stepping back up in distance for this handicap debut.
Gelded son of Free Eagle, offered something to work with in 1m Gowran Park maiden (sixth; 66-1) last month but runs either side of that far less promising; plenty work to be done on handicap bow.
Tagula filly is 0-7 and failed to progress as hoped when switched to handicaps on the AW at Dundalk in the winter; returns from 223-day absence and must improve back on turf. Yard quiet.
Returned from a break to win a Limerick handicap (1m, good; 9-1) on Friday evening, edging in front close home under this rider. Carries a 6lb penalty but yard in fine fettle and likely to be in the shake-up once more.
Daughter of Poet's Voice was well held in trio of maidens prior to 13½L down the field finish on handicap bow over 7f (good; 33-1) here a week ago. Lots more required on that evidence.
Shaped nicely in a 6f Fairyhouse maiden (fourth; 33-1) last month on second start but that has been a standout effort from four to date; readily repelled on h'cap bow at Dundalk recently under this rider and lots to work on despite yard going well.
Dragon Pulse filly broke her duck on seasonal/handicap bow at Gowran Park last month (1m, good; 9-2) and since found only subsequent repeat winner Hisnameis Mrdevitt too strong at Limerick; brings strong credentials to the table from 2lb higher.
Seven-race maiden has shown little or no signs of ability in three dismal efforts since racing resumed last month. Right up in distance now and Colin Keane booked; so has to be watched in betting for positive move.
Dual AW winner at Dundalk, including this month over 7f, but yet to show same proficiency on turf; no easy navigation task for 10lb claiming rider on first racecourse outing.
Filly in consistent form in five runs since racing resumed and gained reward back up to 7f at this track a week ago, coming home well to win by 1¾L. Up 6lb for her success but remains with scope for better stuff.
Very closely matched with Shona Mea on recent Limerick meeting; didn't enjoy much luck since at Killarney (sixth) and should be in the firing line with Billy Lee booked and first-time visor deployed.
Encouraging handicap bow at Gowran Park (1m, soft to heavy; 8-1) earlier this month in fourth; Ivawood filly has plenty scope for improvement with Kevin Manning replacing claimer now. Can go well.
Filly hasn't achieved anything in trio of maidens at 1m-1m2f on varying ground to warrant being put forward for a leading role on switch to handicaps.
Red Jazz colt picked up for relatively small money; down the field all three starts, latest in a Dundalk claimer in March after which he made the switch to this yard. Watching brief.
Not the most consistent but 2L third of 18 over 7f here last week in race won by Take My Hand was a solid effort. Behind a few of these previously this summer at Limerick and, all told, others more likely to win.
Reserve; lightly-raced maiden; tenth of 14 on handicap debut at Killarney (1m, good to soft; 33-1) 10 days ago and needs plenty more.
Reserve; not seen to best effect here a week ago when midfield in race won by Take My Hand but must improve on overall form in any case.

Forecasts
Shona Mea (3/1), Take My Hand (4/1), Scholastic (4/1), Ivy Avenue (7/1), Amelia Jane (15/2), Legal Thriller (8/1), Philly's Hope (10/1), Miss Cunning (14/1), Sin E Shekells (18/1), Ranger Bob (20/1), Buachaill Or (20/1), Cap D'Antibes (20/1), Three Sevens (22/1), Fryerns (25/1), Laralei (33/1), Chica Boom Boom (40/1), Regal Eagle (50/1), Summit Rock (50/1), Swift Sonnet (50/1), Gracias Madre (66/1), Clever Currency (66/1)
Very competitive stuff here and lots of in-form contenders. Scholastic and Take My Hand arrive from winning efforts and are considered while Shona Mea was successful penultimate start before finding only a subsequent winner too good at Limerick. Jessica Harrington's filly is not done improving and is high on the list. Frontrunner Buachaill Or perhaps found the ground against him last time and isn't dismissed but IVY AVENUE made a pleasing reappearance in an apprentice contest recently to be fourth. That Gowran form gives her a chance, especially with fitness boosted, quicker ground and stable jockey Kevin Manning taking over now.
