Won his maiden here on his seasonal return last year (1m4f, good to soft), but has yet to add to that in handicaps, despite some competitive efforts over 1m4f/1m6f. Ran well at Kempton on his reappearance and should be a contender this time.
Multiple winner from 1m-1m3½f, three of them on good to soft. Back on his last winning mark, but you have to forgive his well below par reappearance and that fact that he is unproven over this far if considering backing him.
Goes well here and on soft ground, as evidenced by his C&D win last time (has also won here over 1m4f on heavy). Up 4lb for that return to form and should be capable of better over this trip.
1m4f fillies' maiden winner at Beverley (soft) three years ago. Has since scored three times over hurdles at up to 2m6f. Stays 2m½f in this code and is on a very competitive mark if she can put a poor recent C&D run behind her.
Dual AW winner at up to 1m4f (stays 2m½f). Arrives in good form from two recent AW efforts, and it is encouraging that although she's a maiden on turf, her best two runs have been here over C&D/2m and on testing ground. Not ruled out.
Won a fillies' novice event at Salisbury last year (1m2f, good to firm) and went close here (1m3½f, heavy) under a penalty next time. Struggled a bit in her first two handicaps. Better effort last time, but has stamina to prove over this far.
Sole win came at Pontefract (1m4f, good to soft) last September, when 6lb lower. Got within 2L of the winner from today's mark at Windsor last month, so she can be competitive, but consistency is not her strong suit and she has stamina to prove.
Placed in five of her seven turf starts, but remains a maiden. Ran well here over 1m4f last time, acts on soft ground, and looks as though she has a good chance of seeing out this trip on her first try. Cheekpieces go on and she enters calculations.
Four-time winner at up to 2m, including on soft. 2lb higher than the most recent of those at Chester last August. Well held on his reappearance after wind surgery last time, but improved for his seasonal debut last year, so not written off.
Useful over hurdles at around 2m1f, but hasn't been able to produce commensurate ability in this code so far. Still early days, however, and he did win comfortably over 2m at Chepstow last time. Up 6lb; handles soft and could have a big say.
Ran well in three of his maidens when with Luca Cumani in 2017, but was unraced when with Paul Nicholls and well beaten on his much-delayed return/debut for this trainer at Hamilton last time. Can only watch at present.

Space Walk (5/2), Repetitio (11/4), Vindolanda (4/1), Motivate Me (17/2), Junderstand (12/1), Air Force Amy (12/1), Al Kout (12/1), Jus Pires (20/1), Overhaugh Street (33/1), Chief Craftsman (40/1), Dragons Voice (50/1), River Icon (80/1)
This could turn out to be a competitive event. Course winner Space Walk should again be thereabouts, while Junderstand; Repetitio and Al Kout can all have cases made. River Icon is another who can't be dismissed, but preference is for VINDOLANDA, who should have more to come over this trip.
