Very cheap 800gns Cable Bay colt out of French 1m-1m2f winner. Half-brother of little account. Doesn't make much appeal on paper and stable having a quiet spell at present.
£18,000 Dandy Man colt out of French 1m winner. Yard has 12% overall strike rate with its turf juveniles and is in decent form at the moment so no surprise to see him run respectably on debut.
Showcasing colt cost 55,000gns as a yearling and is out of speedy Scandinavian 5f-6f winner. Draw not a great help on debut but well worth noting for any market support hailing from yard that specialize in sprinters.
Coach House gelding showed plenty of speed on debut last month over 6f at Lingfield where faded only last 100 yards and finished second. Didn't back that up when fourth over 6f here last time and drop back in trip makes sense.
56,000 euros Kodiac colt who looked green on debut and was slow to go here over 6f last week. Recovered to chase leaders before tiring and finishing down the field but will have learned plenty and top yard remains in good form.
22,000 euros Power colt out of winning AW miler. Hasn't shown a great deal in two starts so far and drop back in trip after a poor effort over 6f at Newmarket recently where may not have handled the track. First-time blinkers now applied.
Beautifully bred filly by Invincible Spirit out of a Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner. Half-sister to two French winner, one in Listed company. Very much looks the part on paper and should be thereabouts from a decent draw if wound up.
Swiss Spirit filly out of winning miler. Two siblings have failed to score and yard haven't had a juvenile winner during the last five seasons. Others make more appeal.
By Gutaifan out of winning German miler. Half-sister won over 6f as a 2yo so makes some appeal on breeding. Not disgraced both runs so far including fourth over C&D last time. Won't be too far away.
£4,000 daughter of Acclamation, out of winning French dam, and half-sister to AW 1m winner. Yard has just 7% strike-rate with juveniles and few of those have been first time out so likely to benefit from this debut experience.
Forecasts
Night On Earth (11/4), Creedmoor (3/1), Nurse Florence (4/1), Lothian (6/1), Danzart (17/2), Atalis Bay (14/1), Power On (18/1), Jazzy Socks (20/1), Silent Approval (25/1), Friday (66/1)
Night on Earth is marginally preferred to Lothian of those with previous expereience but the standout pedigree in the race belongs to CREEDMOR who is bred to be smart. By Invincible Spirit, she is out of Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes heroine Vorda and makes plenty of appeal on paper for a top yard that can have then ready first time. Fellow newcomers Jazzy Socks and Danzart are also bred for speed and any market move for either would be worth entering into calculations.
- Creedmoor
- Night On Earth
- Lothian
