Hurdles and bumper winner; has only raced once on the Flat when finishing well beaten in a maiden at the Curragh; experience may serve him well but perhaps not the most likely winner.
Gelded son of Holy Roman Emperor purchased for €38,000 as a yearling. Last of five on debut at Gowran Park last July, the gelding getting worked up entering the stalls before being slowly away.
By Rock Of Gibraltar out of a prolific Flat winning mare; has shown little promise in three racecourse appearance to date including in a bumper usually letting herself down with a slow start.
Camelot colt, cost 18,000 gns as a yearling and €100,000 as a Breeze-up purchase; one paced on debut at the Curragh in June; should be stronger here and one to consider with that experience under his belt.
Cost 8,000 euros as a yearling; related to multiple winners most notably Flash Fire; should go well but whether is will be up to the task on debut remains to be seen.
Reasonably bred gelding from top yard but has shown very little on two racecourse appearances at Naas and Gowran Park; hard to see where improvement will come from at this stage.
Bought for 200,000 gns as a yearling; already gelded when making belated debut at the Curragh last month; slowly away but showed some promise; open to improvement.
Seventh foal; half-brother to two winners in USA; should be suited by this trip and any market moves would be encouraging.
Galileo colt, half-brother to Breeders' Cup Turf winner Main Sequence; best effort from three came last time out at the Curragh; would only need to improve marginally to have every chance in this contest.
Pioneer of The Nile half-brother to Breeders' Cup Classic winner Vino Rosso; cost $575,000 as a yearling; finished last on debut run at Leopardstown over a mile last month; will be more clued up here.
Well held in a couple of career spins on both turf on debut and when last seen on the AW at Dundalk in March; open to improvement but hard to back with confidence.
Dansili colt. Half-brother to Group 3 winners Taniyar and Tanaza; has improved slowly with each run and looks one of the leading contenders in first time blinkers.
Sea The Stars half-sister to 7f winner Alanannda out of Ballycorus Stakes winner Alanza; given gentle introduction on debut at Leopardstown in June; will need to improve plenty to play a hand here.
Cost 40,000 euros as a yearling; related to plenty of winners but overall pedigree suggests she will struggle against some better bred rivals.
Cost 220,00 euros as a yearling; 10th foal; half-sister to winners Spirit Of Battle, Lady Mckell, and Shadow Game; it will be interesting to see level of market support on belated racecourse debut.
Filly by Morpheus out of a Redback mare. Low-cost €1,800 as a yearling; no real promise on racecourse debut at Limerick last month; will hopefully improve but others preferred.
Filly by Footstepsinthesand out of a Elnadim mare; did not show enough on her sole racecourse appearance to suggest she will be up to winning this.
Cost just 1,500 euros as a yearling; second foal; last of 18 on racecourse debut here last week; unlikely winner.

Based on his recent run at the Curragh, MONUMENT VALLEY has an excellent chance of breaking his maiden tag before progressing to better things. On breeding alone, he should be winning this type of race given the amount of racecourse experience he has accrued. Another with lovely breeding is stablemate Ramesses The Great. The colt ran no sort of race on debut in a decent Leopardstown maiden last month and should appreciate this step up in trip. Eaglemont did not particularly shine on his racecourse debut last month but the experience will have done him good and he could run well.
