Previous C&D winner. Bounced right back to form when nose winner at Kempton (6f) ten days ago. Up 3lb so handicapper is taking no chances but considered.
Very poor in two starts this season, beating just one home. Ran to outsider status when 15L last of 10 on latest start at Bath and would be very hard to recommend.
Dual winner at Leicester and Yarmouth last term but not as good since. Distant 10th of 11 at Newmarket (7f) on seasonal bow. This is easier however and is back to last winning mark.
Can be in and out of form but landed two handicaps last term. Improved in two starts this season and has place claims based on recent 4L fifth at Bath (5f, good to firm).
Maiden who remains unexposed in this sphere. Hung right when 4L fifth at Kempton (6f) ten days ago. Cheekpieces turned to but still open to more improvement than most.
Still lightly raced for his age and showed he still had progression in him when narrow winner of 6f Lingfield handicap last month. 3lb hike isn't as bad as first feared and should go very close again.
Redcar novice winner last term and finally gained belated handicap victory when good winner of 6f Windsor handicap in June. Up 5lb in the weights but could progress further now.
Yet to really fire since Epsom victory last summer, and has looked held in two starts this term, including 7L tenth at Windsor (6f) last time. Well below last winning mark but looks regressive.
Often fast finishing at the end of proceedings and not running badly this term, including 3L sixth at Windsor (6f) on latest start. Eased 1lb in the weights and is entitled to place claims.
Without a win since being a juvenile and not really threatening to end that sequence. Never nearer fifth at Newbury (6f) in June and vulnerable to gradual improvers.
Hat-trick winner last term who was hiked up in the weights for that. Didn't effectively stay 7f last time but plugged on for third and should be a better prospect at this trip.
Beginning to make up for lost time but remains a maiden. Improved once more when neck second at Chepstow (6f) last time and easier 6f should suit better. On the shortlist.

Forecasts
Rewaayat (9/4), Fashionesque (16/5), Soldier's Son (6/1), My Style (10/1), Doc Sportello (10/1), Gilt Edge (11/1), Alfie Solomons (11/1), Handytalk (14/1), Spanish Star (18/1), Little Palaver (25/1), Harrogate (25/1), Waseem Faris (25/1), Queen Of Burgundy (28/1), The Night Watch (100/1)
Plenty come into this opening contest with reasonable claims, but preference is for REWAAYAT to continue his upward curve. He wasn't entirely suited to proceedings at Lingfield last time but still got the job done. He remains towards a workable mark and this track and trip should suit better. The same can be said to bottom weight Soldier's Son based on his narrow reverse at Chepstow last time, while Spanish Star and Doc Portello are both within their winning marks and fared better in races not suited to their style last time out. At a price, My Style may be of interest if the cheekpieces have their desired effect for a yard who are operating at a 22% strike rate.
