Thrice-raced maiden. Very little to shout about in three starts to date, including 7L ninth at Dundalk (7f) in January. Not seen since and may be more of a handicapping prospect in time.

Looked inexperienced on debut at Roscommon and while faring better at Cork (1m, yielding) next time, she folded tamely to finish 9L sixth. Trip not entirely set to suit once again.

Exceeded expectations when second on debut start but couldn't back that up when 12L eighth at Naas (7f) in late June. Likely to need some give in the ground and must bounce back from that effort.

Gradually getting the hang of things with time, and arguably ran up to same standard when 6L sixth in 1m2f Leopardstown maiden nine days ago. Looks to have one more chance in this company before handicapping.

Siyouni filly out of a 1m4f-winning Dam. Half-sister to Group 2 winner Eziyra (1m4f), 1m Listed winner Eshera and from the family of Ascot Gold Cup (2m4f) winner Estimate. Regal pedigree with obvious chance on debut.

Needed to gain experience on debut and improved greatly when narrow second in C&D maiden at the end of last month. Will need further in time but holds solid claims in this.

Four-race maiden who arguably ran best race so far when 1L fifth of 17 in C&D maiden in late June. Behind Feminism that day so more required to reverse that form.

Pour Moi filly. Dam was a 7f winner who is related to winning juveniles and Irish Oaks/Prix Vermeille winner Shawanda. Half-sister to 1m winner Shamonix. Likeable pedigree but tough ask on debut start.

Full-sister to some smart sorts and well fancied on debut but could only finish 7L at Leopardstown (1m, good). Slow start cost all chance that day and could be forgiven for strong connections.
Galileo filly out of Group 3-winning dam. Raced towards the rear and kept on without threatening when fifth of 13 at Gowran (1m) in mid June. One to do better in time and not entirely without hope.

Horse silk

Well beaten in two racecourse starts to date and regressed significantly when 36L last of 14 at Roscommon (7f) in late June. Very little chance of turning around poor form book.

Improved greatly from modest debut at this track (1m2f) when not beaten far into fourth in C&D maiden at the end of last month. No reason why she cannot progress again. Place claims.

Horse silk

Not beaten far behind smart sort on debut last month but didn't necessarily improve when 7L seventh in 1m2f maiden here last month. Down in trip for this with something to prove.

Dragon Pulse filly. Not beaten far but still well-held when sixth of 13 in 1m Gowran fillies' maiden on debut last month. Likely to need more improvement from that again however and others offer more pressing claims.

Sea The Stars filly. Dam was placed over 7f and half-sister to 7f winner Ruby Shoes and French 1m AW winner What Secret. Hails from very regal pedigree line too so not to be discounted on racecourse debut.

Not the most expensive purchase and while only beaten 6L, was never really on terms on debut over C&D last month. Other re-opposing rivals have more to offer in this.

Only fetched €1,000 as a yearling. First foal out of a dam who placed up to 1m2f in Italy and half-sister to various Italian winners between 1m2f and 1m4f. Pedigree remains an unknown but probably best watched on debut.
€12,000 purchase as a foal. Half-sister to 1m1f winner Hurricane Cliff, 1m4f winner Miss Louise and Italian 1m winner Baffonero. Modest pedigree on paper and faces plenty on debut.

Verdict

A race which predominantly makes up for its quality in quantity, it may be worth noting an improver and FEMINISM can get off the mark at the third attempt. She didn't get much room on debut but still took the eye by only going down by a head and taking on a host of re-opposing rivals in this, she looks hard to beat. Etneya hails from a classy bloodline and could develop into a smart performer in time, while Lady Anner and Never Forgotten showed glimpses of promise on debut and may have notable progression to come. Joseph O'Brien's second string, Sagrada Familia, must not be ignored too given she only has a length to make up on the selection from their last race at Naas.
