A course specialist who will appreciate the drop back to the minimum distance after fading over the slightly longer trip here last week; should relish the conditions and no surprise if she bounces back; been dropped 2lb.
Won at Leicester in late June but couldn't justify strong support under a penalty last time out (he's actually been raised 1lb for finishing fourth of seven that day). Won over C&D from a much higher mark last summer, so dangerous to rule out.
Won on good to soft (5f) at Chepstow last September but nowhere near as good since. Still on a 5lb higher mark than for that success in Wales and comes here with a bit to prove.
Was a close second at Chepstow last time (Atty's Edge was last of eight) and not unduly punished in racing from a 1lb higher mark. 0-7 on turf so far but has done well over the last year since joining her current yard. A big run is not ruled out.
Been in decline for a while now and the losing sequence is mounting up; two starts since the turf season got underway have been moderate at best; others make more appeal.
Endured two long gaps in between his races over the last couple of years but latest starts suggest he's still got the ability to figure at this level. The fitting of blinkers could give him a boost; a move in the betting would be of interest.
Finished off his race well at Chepstow 10 days ago, which was one of his better performances in recent times. He's being kept busy and has gone well over C&D before; not particularly well handicapped just now, though.
Both previous wins came on soft ground but turf form on faster has has been a mixed bag. Hard to know what to expect as she makes her seasonal debut after sitting out the action since December; can go well fresh, the betting can guide.
Held her form since winning at Beverley (from a 7lb lower mark) on her reappearance last month; then finished ahead of Q Twenty Boy at Thirsk last time; up 2lb for that effort but still competitively weighted. Cut in the ground would suit.
Ran well to be third here latest - Awsaaf a neck behind in fourth - and notable she won over C&D around this time last year; that was her third success at this course. Her yard is quiet just now but the assistance of a respected 3lb claimer helps.
0-7 in all races so far and her last three starts were uninspiring efforts; finished last of 10 when tied over 5f (first time at the trip) at Kempton when last seen (in October 2019) and is hard to recommend at present.
Can make the running and comes into this after a solid effort here last week (had Toolatetodelegate and Awsaaf in behind); noteworthy she won her maiden over C&D three years ago; as she's not fully exposed at 5f she could be good value for a place.

THEGREYVTRAIN likes to get on with things and could be hard to reel in if she's allowed an easy lead. She faded over a slightly longer trip here last week but will be better suited by today's distance. Dreamboat Annie ran one of her better races when second in a truly run race over C&D on the same card last week and also merits a check in the betting; while Hello Girl is another to arrive in good heart and is also respected. Katherine Place and Awsaaf complete the shortlist.
