Improved on debut effort when finishing 3L second over this trip in a novice event at Hamilton (good-to-soft) just over a fortnight ago. Looks likely to run well once more.
Disappointing odds-on favourite at Newcastle on debut but fared better when 1L third over this trip at Lingfield at the end of last month. Making his turf debut and looks likely to play a leading role in this event.
Shaped as if a drop in trip might suit when finishing 14L fifth over 6f at Wolverhampton when making his debut last month. Likely more needed if he's to take this race on his first start on turf.
Has shown decent form in two starts to date most recently when third in a six runner 5f event at Wolverhampton. Cheekpieces tried for the first time and is of interest in this contest.
Unraced home-bred Music Master gelding and a half-brother to winner Tally's Son. Probably best watched on debut for a stable who are 0/16 with their two-year-olds in recent years.
Not beaten far despite hanging throughout when fourth over this trip at Newmarket (good-to-firm) on debut early last month and ran well when beaten ½L upped to 6f at Haydock (good) subsequently. Likely to prove hard to beat dropping in trip.
Beaten 12L when finishing last of ten in a 5f novice race at Windsor (good) on debut last month. Others hold more obvious claims on this occasion.
Finished seventh on both previous starts including when beaten 11½L over this trip at Windsor (good-to-firm) last time out. Probably best watched at present.
Forecasts
Vedute (4/7), Identified (10/3), Burning Cash (7/1), Swooper (9/1), Portelet Bay (20/1), Glamorous Breeze (50/1), The Pretty Way (100/1), Tally's Double (100/1)
VEDUTE sets the standard on form and with the drop back in trip unlikely to inconvenience he can register his first career success at the third time of asking by taking the opening two-year-old race. The selection can get the better of turf debutant Identified who ran well when finishing third on his most recent start while third place can go the way of Burning Cash who register his best effort in two starts so far when finishing runner-up last time.
