Overcame a slow start, when ultimately running out a ready winner on handicap/turf debut at Leicester (1m, good to firm) last week; claims if handling the projected softer ground under her 6lb penalty.
Modest for Marco Botti (0-6); displayed pace, but weakened on debut for Tracy Waggott (also saddles She's A Belter) at Leicester (1m2f, good) last month; drop back in trip (to 1m) looks a logical move.
Class 7 Newcastle winner (1m); just failed in a driving finish with Bankawi (She's A Belter fourth) over C&D (good) three weeks ago; appeals as one of the likelier candidates on that evidence, albeit has been raised by the assessor since (4lb).
Well beaten (66-1) on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (7f) last month; can't be entertained given what he's shown on the track so far (0-4); safe to look elsewhere.
Didn't kick on positively as a juvenile, leaving Mark Johnston for £19,000 in September 2019; hasn't shown much in the way of promise in two subsequent starts for Ruth Carr.
Was soon outpaced, and swiftly beaten up the home straight (eighth of 12) in a 1m Ripon novice 16-days ago; hasn't achieved enough to make an opening handicap mark of 56 look appealing.
Ran her best race so far (on seasonal reappearance) when finishing 4¾L third to King's Charisma at Redcar (1m2f, good) a fortnight ago; is expected to cope with dropping back in trip (to 1m); reasonably interesting, and probably worth risking.
Unsurprisingly cut little ice in maidens, starting at odds of 250-1 at Pontefract (1m, good) three weeks ago; this half-brother to the 1m2f-1m4f winner Lady Valdean makes his handicap debut at a suitable level.
No Nay Never filly (€65,000 yearling); was returning from an 11-month absence when finishing sixth of eight (to Only Alone) in a 5f Pontefract novice (good); clearly isn't one of the King Power Co Ltd leading lights; handicap debut.
Newly-cheekpieced stablemate of Sushi Power and Temper Trap; stayed on from off the pace to finish sixth (5-1) on handicap debut at Leicester (1m+) 23 days ago - form is comparable with Rosa Gold (through Blairlogie).
Archipenko gelding (cost 41,000gns as a yearling); still looked to be learning the ropes when finishing sixth to Eternal Blush in a 6f maiden here (good) three weeks ago; has stamina in his pedigree - half-brother to Cote D'Azur (7f-1m2f).
Ex-Irish (Madeleine Tylicki); brought along steadily by the Spennymoor-handler Tracy Waggott; hasn't too much to find with Aiden's Reward on recent C&D form; place claims.
Slade Power gelding (cost £30,000 as a yearling); fared marginally better than previously on seasonal reappearance at Pontefract (6f, good); tackles a new trip (often slowly away) on handicap debut; one of three declared runners for Tim Easterby.

Forecasts
Rosa Gold (6/5), Double D's (10/3), Aiden's Reward (6/1), Carriesmatic (7/1), She's A Belter (16/1), Herbert Pocket (20/1), Puckle (22/1), Temper Trap (40/1), Top Attraction (40/1), Vertice (40/1), Sushi Power (40/1), Don't Joke (50/1), Fedora Fits (50/1), Jackate (80/1)
Rosa Gold was a ready winner on turf/handicap debut at Leicester last week, but wouldn't necessarily appear to be well-treated under her 6lb penalty (on the projected softer ground). Aiden's Reward and She's A Belter are considered realistic contenders after finishing second and fourth respectively (same race) over C&D three weeks ago. Meanwhile, it's entirely possible that Herbert Pocket (first-time cheekpieces) and Double D's (still learning the ropes) can take the required step forward. However, the reasonably interesting Passing Glance-filly CARRIESMATIC receives the tentative nod after a much improved display at Redcar (1m2f) a fortnight ago.
- Carriesmatic
- Aiden's Reward
- Rosa Gold
