Verdict

The Joseph O'Brien-trained PATRICK SARSFIELD picked up where he left off last season by visiting the winners enclosure on return to action at Leopardstown last month off a 15lb lower mark. The son of Australia can win for a third time holding off the advances of the Jim Bolger-trained Halimi who is likely to improve on his run at Naas when last seen in March. The pair who can both race up with the pace could have a few in trouble some way out. Tartlette and Edification finished first and second in a 17-runner handicap on return at the Curragh last month, both can give good accounts once again, while Insignia Of Rank could go well at a price.
  1. Patrick Sarsfield
  2. Halimi
  3. Tartlette
