Off the mark for connections over 2m1f on good ground on his penultimate start at Killarney 12 months ago. Well beaten finishing behind Red Vermillion - runs in 2.00 - on return to action at Fairyhouse last month. Faces an uphill task here.

Five-race maiden. Well held and no impression behind stablemate Lalipour - runs 2.00 - at Navan over 1m5f on seasonal debut last month. No surprise to witness improved effort.

Form has improved in a couple of starts for connections but there appears still a long way to go for the gelding without a win in five starts on turf.

Beaten favourite when running Lalipour - runs 2.00 - to ½L on second start this month in a Navan 1m5f handicap last month. Lively contender.

Winner of two of his 13 Flat starts on turf. Majority of efforts last seasonal and on the AW at Dundalk over the winter have seen the gelding slip back to 1lb below last winning mark. Easy to look elsewhere.

Nothing of note in a couple of dismal efforts at Leopardstown and Roscommon over 1m2f/1m4f since racing resumed. Now racing 25lb lower than last winning mark tells it's own story.

Respectable fourth off a 4lb higher mark at Bellewstown on his penultimate start on the Flat in August before landing a Leopardstown 1m4f contest last month off a 6lb lower mark. Another bold bid expected.

Out of luck in 13 career Flat starts on turf. Recent effort on comeback over hurdles at Tipperary was below-par but is worth a check in the market on return to Flat action.

Running with great credit since return to action at Fairyhouse and Navan last month. Third of 15 beaten 1¾L behind Lalipour - runs 2.00 - recently and firmly in the mix here in first-time visor.

Beaten in five starts on the AW at Dundalk since landing a 1m2f handicap in January. Yet to hit the frame in four starts on turf and others appear more convincing.

Generally well held in a couple of starts since the return of racing despite her finishing positions. Looks opposable stepping up in trip.

33-race Flat maiden still looking for breakthrough success in 22 starts on turf. Not beaten far on return to action at Leopardstown over 1m2f last month. Looks a long-term prospect for new connections.

Forecasts

Aasleagh Fawn (6/4), Dollar Value (10/3), Give Battle (15/2), Loudest Whisper (8/1), Metal Man (10/1), Allora Yeats (14/1), Make Good (14/1), Wojood (22/1), Olly's Folly (40/1), Duke Of Waspington (40/1), Secret Wizard (50/1), Shoulda Lied (66/1)

Verdict

The Gavin Cromwell-trained AASLEAGH FAWN can add a third career win on turf. The mare can build on a solid effort at Navan last month finishing second of 15 runners ½L behind Lalipour on soft ground. Dollar Value, winner of a 17-runner handicap at Leopardstown last month can be the biggest threat for trainer Tom McCourt. The Gordon Elliott-trained Metal Man can improve on his effort over 1m5f at Navan last month while Give Battle representing the Charles Byrnes stable should be checked in the market.
