Sent off 11-4f for the Group 3 Blue Wind Stakes over 1m2f here last month but only managed fourth; drops in trip and remains open to further progress. Not one to discount easily.
Maiden winner at Dundalk in December on debut and far from disgraced as 125-1 chance on seasonal return/second start in the Irish 1,000 Guineas (seventh). Likely improves for that experience and could have place claims.
Didn't match market expectations in the Group 3 Fillies Trial over 7f here last month; that outing leaves her with plenty work to do with re-opposing runner-up Know It All.
Much-improved on seasonal reappearance/second start when narrowly landing a 7f Gowran Park maiden (good to firm) last month; likely has to improve significantly again to add to the tally jumping up in class.
Never-nearer second behind Love Locket in the Group 3 Fillies Trial over 7f here last month her latest promising effort; stable in red-hot form and seems sure to be suited going up to the mile now. Leading player.
Sea The Stars filly who ran a huge race when beating a useful field on debut over C&D in August; gave the impression there was plenty more to come and will relish this extra furlong; interesting runner despite class-jump.
Fairyhouse maiden winner over 6f last September and subsequently 6L second to Tango in Listed contest at the Curragh (soft to heavy); 50-1 when eighth in 7f Group 3 here last month and tough ask to turn that around with runner-up Know It All.
Remains a maiden but boasts strong credentials; third in Irish 1,000 Guineas on reappearance and fourth since in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. Eased in grade now and leading player for top connections.
Dotted up in 6f Listed Curragh race in October (soft to heavy) but behind that rival in Group 3 here last month (10th, Know It All second). Beaten favourite in Listed Navan sprint since and some convincing to do tackling a mile again.
Forecasts
So Wonderful (15/8), Know It All (3/1), Ridenza (4/1), Amma Grace (6/1), Celestial Object (10/1), Tango (20/1), Apricot Moon (22/1), Schroders Mistake (50/1), Faire Croire (66/1)
So Wonderful is a good starting point and has fine claims on form but she remains a maiden after 10 starts and has twice given her all in Group 1 company in a little over three weeks. At the likely odds, she may be worth taking on. Her stablemate Tango has something to prove at this trip. Amma Grace will be sharper for her outing here 10 days ago and has more to come while once-raced maiden winner Ridenza is an exciting prospect and not overlooked hastily. KNOW IT ALL fared best of these in a Group 3 over 7f here last month and, with Johnny Murtagh's team in blistering form, can be expected to improve again tackling a mile. She may give Ben Coen a big-race success.
- Know It All
- Amma Grace
- Ridenza
