Sole success came over this trip on Lingfield's AW surface in 2018. Yet to pick up any prize money on turf. Held last time at Wolverhampton and needs significant improvement on both that effort and this surface.
Multiple AW scorer who is 2-39 on turf, but has not won on it since 2016. Slipping to a more attractive mark now, but still takes a leap of faith to see the drought ending today.
Showed some early promise when with Richard Hannon, but failed to deliver on that. Changed hands prior to a more encouraging recent stable debut at Goodwood (7f, good to firm), and can't rule him out if he can muster a repeat effort.
Handles fast ground. Arrives on the back of a narrow defeat on Kempton's Polytrack (7f) when last seen in March. That was when she was fresh, so no issues now that she has had another break. Interesting from just 1lb higher.
Triple Wolverhampton winner over 6f-7f, but yet to win from seven starts on turf. Has shown that he handles good/good to firm ground, and wasn't beaten far from today's mark at Haydock last time. Potential contender.
Sole win came over 7½f (good to firm; first-time visor) at Lingfield last year, when 1lb higher. Well below par in four of his last five starts, however, so returns from a break with plenty to prove.
Triple turf winner over 6f, all on ground including 'good' in the description. The latest of those came three years ago, and he has been on the slide since, though did win twice on AW last year. Hard to fancy on recent evidence.
Four-time All Weather winner over 6f-1m, but 0-20 on turf, where he has made the frame just twice. Decent effort by his standard at Haydock last time, but still needs to raise the bar again from 1lb 'wrong'.
Multiple turf winner from 6f-1m, all on good ground or faster. On the slide throughout 2019, with only an occasional flicker of ability, and hard to fancy from out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Purbeck Hills (3/1), Outer Space (18/5), Freedom And Wheat (9/2), Rock Warbler (13/2), Deputy Star (13/2), Deconso (8/1), Boorowa (10/1), Mont Kiara (10/1), Keeper's Choice (12/1), Jupiter (16/1), Pumaflor (18/1)
A very tricky race with so many of them out of sorts, and perhaps PURBECK HILLS can build on a more encouraging effort last time and take this. Boorowa is one of the more obvious dangers, while Deconso and Deputy Star are the other two who make some appeal.
