C&D winner caught the eye when beaten just 1¾L in finishing fifth in a handicap over an extended 7f at Beverley (good) earlier this month. Races off the same mark here and is one to note in this contest.
Victorious three times over this trip last year most recently by ¾L in a good ground handicap at Ayr in September. Well beaten seventh on seasonal debut at Haydock (1m, good-to-soft) three weeks ago and is likely to have improved for that run.
In great form last spring winning four of his seven starts in May and June including by a neck over this trip at Carlisle (good-to-firm) on his most recent start. Notable runner racing off a 5lb higher mark on his first start in just over a year.
Successful at Listowel (7f, yielding) in June last year but struggled on his final two starts in Ireland and it was a similar story when last of ten over 1m2f at Newcastle on debut for this yard earlier this month. Drop in trip a positive.
Run well on both starts since racing returned including when 5L fourth over 1m at Leicester (good) just over two weeks ago. Races off the same mark here and is an interesting runner in this event.
Five race maiden showed promise when seventh on handicap debut at Newcastle (1m2f) in February. Struggled over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton earlier this month and wears blinkers for the first time.
Making his seasonal debut when finishing 1L second in a 1m2f handicap at Newcastle just over three weeks ago. Changed stables since and is of interest dropping in trip despite a 2lb rise in the weights.
Placed twice from three starts last year including when 6L second in a five runner 1m1f maiden on good-to-firm ground here in June. Notable runner dropping in trip on handicap debut following just over a year off the track.
Winner of seven of his 50 career starts but struggled when 12L ninth over 1m2f at Pontefract (good) on seasonal debut earlier this month. Back down to his last winning mark but others hold more obvious claims.
Victorious over this C&D on good ground just over a year ago and placed since. Well held twice on the AW late last year and interesting to see how he fares returned to turf on seasonal debut.

Vive La Difference (9/4), Bin Makfi (9/2), My Ukulele (5/1), Al Ozzdi (6/1), Strong Steps (10/1), Granite City Doc (11/1), Royal Shaheen (11/1), Philip's Wish (14/1), Chinese Spirit (16/1), Jackhammer (20/1), Engles Rock (22/1)
VIVE LA DIFFERENCE wasn't beaten far on his most recent start and he can defy top weight to take this competitive looking handicap. The selection is taken to get the better of Granite City Doc who ran well placed over further last time out while third place can go to Philip's Wish who is making his first start in handicap company.
