Australia colt. Third foal out of dam who was a winner over 1m on the track but has produced staying types, including 1m6f performer Giuseppe Garibaldi. Likely to need further in time but yard have been in hot form this season. Considered.
€27,000 yearling purchase. No show at all on debut when pushed out immediately from the gate and beaten 18L into last at Tipperary (5f, yielding) this month. This looks another task where he is out of his depth.
Galileo colt. First foal out of the high-class Mecca's Angel, who won two Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes (5f) during illustrious career. Regally bred blend of speed and stamina and looks a leading contender on racecourse debut.
Galileo colt. Dam was a maiden on the track but produced smart types already, including juvenile Group 2 winner Royal Dornoch and Group 3 scorer Hawksmoor. Taking pedigree and notable if there is market support on debut.
Fastnet Rock colt. Second foal out of unraced mare closely related to Galileo. Half-sister to 7f scorer for this yard Maker Of Kings. Nice enough pedigree and one who can take steps forward for in-form yard.
Colt by 2008 Derby winner New Approach. Dam was unraced homebred by Teofilo and yet to produce a winner on the track. Yard not in the greatest of form at the moment so best watched on racecourse debut.
Colt by top US turf performer Bobby's Kitten. Dam was a Listed winner over 6f and has produced speedy sorts. Half-brother to 5f sppeedball Tarboosh. Market check required but yard haven't had a winner since racing has resumed, which is concerning.
Galileo colt. First foal out of mare who was highly tried but only won a maiden on the track (1m). Descends from family of Fastnet Rock but likely to come on for whatever effort he produces in this.
Galileo colt. Dam was a winner over 6f on the track and producing smart types, including 1m1f Group 2 winner Elizabeth Browning and top-level scorer Johannes Vermeer (1m). Smart pedigree but looks to be stable's third string on jockey bookings.
Forecasts
Hudson River (3/1), Lust (3/1), Ace Aussie (4/1), Iowa (11/2), Snowy Owl (9/1), Wembley (10/1), Mac Swiney (12/1), Monaasib (22/1), Cursory Exam (100/1)
Another maiden which should produce some smart types to follow for the future, the regally bred HUDSON RIVER is well fancied to make his debut start a winning one. The colt is the eagerly-anticipated first-foal out of a champion sprinter and has the pedigree to suggest he will develop into a top-level performer in time. His stable duo Iowa and Wembley are also not without claims given their top pedigrees, while the likes of Ace Aussie and Lust represent yards who have been striking with debutantes this season should should not be discounted if they were to have them fully wound up for their debut starts
- Hudson River
