Promising juvenile without winning and immediately stepped up from that with narrow defeat on handicap debut at Doncaster (1m, good) just under a fortnight ago. Big player despite being out of the handicap.
Quickly turned out last autumn and got better with each start. Ran well enough when top weight for handicap debut when fourth at Wolverhampton (1m) this month. Eased 1lb so claims.
Unexposed sort who is improving with each effort, culminating with narrow 1m handicap victory at Doncaster (1m) this month. Up 3lb but no reason why he cannot progress once more.
Twice-raced maiden who shaped well on debut. Beaten 15L into fourth by smart sort at Kempton (1m) earlier this month. Form has subsequently been boosted so no shock if he was to improve in this.
Solid third on debut three starts ago but not fired at all since. Well held when 11L eighth at Haydock (1m2f, good) earlier this month and given lofty enough mark for handicap debut. Best watched.
Ran into Derby favourite English King on debut but progressive since, including when beaten narrowly into third behind Time Voyage at Doncaster (1m) last time. Should come on once more. Place claims.
Five-race maiden whose best effort came when third at Chelmsford in November. Offered very little with 12L defeat on handicap debut at Haydock (1m2f) however. Limited appeal.
Thrice-raced maiden who is getting better with each start. Ran to similar level with 2L defeat at Newcastle (7f) in January. Not seen since and nice enough handicap mark, but career-best will be required.
1-11 starts so far and struggling off loftier marks. Showed no sign of that changing when 12L ninth at Haydock (1m2f) this month. Needs to slip down the weights more before being considered again.
Only notable performance in career to date was when fourth in Thirsk novice last term. Gelded over the winter but didn't seem to have desired effect when sixth of 10 at Beverley (7f) earlier this month. Others preferred.
Only showed ability once last term and remains a maiden after five starts. Latest 15L last of 10 at Beverley (7f) demands a lot more in this company. Makes little appeal.
Sole career win came at Thirsk last term and did run to that level before last two starts. Last seen finishing 19L last of seven at Haydock (1m2f) this month. Bounce back required now.

Forecasts
Born A King (7/4), Night Bear (9/2), Warne's Army (5/1), Manzo Duro (13/2), Time Voyage (9/1), Camahawk (14/1), Hooroo (14/1), Provocation (22/1), Araka Li (33/1), Out Of Breath (50/1), International Lion (50/1), Muritz (50/1), Phantom Bride (100/1), Violette Szabo (200/1)
A handicap in which unexposed form and re-opposing form lines could come to the fore. Time Voyage and Night Bear both contested the same handicap at Doncaster last time and return in this closely matched with each, that race arguably sets the form standard, while the likes of Warne's Army and Manzo Duro excelled on their respective debuts in this company and look fiercely competitive at the top of the weights. However, it is worth taking a chance with BORN A KING, who ran into First Receiver last time (subsequently finished narrow second at Royal Ascot) but has plenty of scope to improve in this company for the lethal Fallon/Haggas combination.
- Born A King
- Night Bear
- Manzo Duro
