Four-time AW winner (all over 1m) not at his best in two runs since returning although past form would suggest he's more likely to spark to life here than latest on turf.
Only 1-15 on AW but ran well at Chelmsford when last seen in November after winning at Yarmouth in August. Not run this year like most of his rivals but capable if ready.
Lightly raced four-year-old won two of four starts including over C&D in February. Close fourth on handicap debut at Chelmsford latest and could easily be more to come so one to consider here.
Veteran former C&D winner below par on return at Chelmsford but running pretty well off similar marks over the winter so could make the frame here with a few cobwebs now blown away.
21,000gns purchase out of John Oxx's yard a little underwhelming on stable debut at Doncaster albeit in a warmer race than this. Cheekpieces on now and rare that this yard doesn't find improvement from recruits.
Won twice last spring but gone nine races without success since and after again being well held at Kempton latest he is best watched even with Murphy aboard.
Fine record of 8-21 on AW and won remarkable seven times in 11 weeks this winter. 30lb higher than start of that run now and last of 13 at Kempton latest suggests handicapper finally has her number.
Dual winner placed in her last three starts including second over 1m here penultimately and third over 7f at Kempton latest. Again expected to make presence felt.
Somewhat inconsistent in a busy 2019 campaign and not seen out since October so could need the run here and not sure he's particularly well handicapped at present either.
Four wins over last 12 months, all at 7f. 4lb higher here than February Chelmsford win and initial 5lb rise saw her struggle at the same venue when last seen. Others preferred.
Mostly struggled since 7f Kempton score in November and although he's now only 1lb higher his latest run would be enough to temper enthusiasm.
Forecasts
Healing Power (9/4), Baby Steps (9/2), Mr Tyrrell (7/1), Directory (9/1), Blame Culture (10/1), Busby (12/1), Agent Of Fortune (14/1), Eljaddaaf (16/1), Envisaging (16/1), Clockers Corner (16/1), Fighting Temeraire (33/1)
Unexposed four-year-old HEALING POWER has won twice in four starts including over C&D and shaped encouragingly on handicap debut recently. Further improvement can be expected from this son of Kodiac now and he gets the nod with most rivals looking exposed. Baby Steps has picked up where he left off with consistent form and he looks a threat. Clockers Corner could easily spring to life in the first-time cheekpieces.
- Healing Power
- Baby Steps
- Clockers Corner
