Play 4 To Score At Betway Handicap
Class 6 | 1m 6f | Good to Firm | 10 Runners | Turf
Off time: 16:28 | Winning time: 3m 0.69s
Two wins to her name in 29 starts, so she's no win machine, but stays this trip well and comes into this off the back of a good effort on the all-weather here, finishing second. Clear chances of hitting the frame again, at worst.
Still a maiden after 17 starts and looks moderate; no show in two starts over hurdles for this yard and this trip something of an unknown as well, so not hard to look elsewhere for the wnner.
Back to form when beating Nafaayes on the all-weather here two starts ago (simialr weights today) and followed that up with another solid effort in defeat at Wolverhampton last week; effective on turf, and looks a player here.
Some reasonable efforts in defeat over hurdles for this yard and should be winning races in that sphere this year, but two runs on the Flat not as good, and this trip something of an unknown; young enough to improve though, so hard to discount.
Well backed to score after a break (and in tongue tie, on again here) at Chelmsford and did so with ease, coming clear late; 5lb rise looks fair, will face different conditions here but no reason for him not to run his race again.
Not much to shout about from his six starts so far, and a laboured effort coming back from a break at Kempton earlier in the month, tailed off; can't be entertained as the winner on that.
Pops up in her turn, and only 1lb higher than last winning mark now; likes quick ground and stays this trip (although yet to win at it), but possible she will need this run having nt raced since January, so others make a little more appeal today.
Ready winner over C&D last September (good to firm), but a much lesser effort on nexrt start hihglights her inconsistency; conditions clearly suit and chances if on a going day, but others hold stonger claims.
Five wins on 44 starts on turf, useful at his best but simply looks on the downgrade these days, and getting on for two years since he won one; not disgraced on reappearance and well handicapped if he ever refinds his form, but very risky.
Placed two of his last three starts and turned in best effort to date when second to What Will Be at Chelmsford last time, 4lb better off here; young enough to improve and if transferring that form to turf, has a squeak here.
