Began her career with ambitious run in the Group 1 Moyglare (7f, good) here last September (last of nine); disappointing she hasn't opened account in four maidens since (AW/turf) and seemed to appreciate 1m2f last time.

Kodiac filly out of a well-related 1¾m-1m7f winner. Pedigree a blend of speed and stamina; good second despite 28-1 SP on debut at Leopardstown (1m, good) and shortlisted with Shane Foley taking over now for in-form team.

Improved for her Curragh debut run to show something more promising on Dundalk's Polytrack when last seen last September (both 7f). That looks to be something for her to build on and she could get involved now up in trip.

Filly has run well in all four maidens so far at 6f-7f on turf/AW; beaten favourite in her last three starts of 2019 however and appears second choice from Jessica Harrington's yard on return.

Sister to 1m-1m4f winner Fascinating Rock (inc Group 1), half-sister to winners Newcross (1m4f/14f), Secretsubstitute (1m2f) and Quick Jack (1m4f-2m/smart 2m hurdle); dam 1m winner. Interesting newcomer from leading yard.

Shaped with some promise when fifth of 18 in a 1m good-to-firm Naas maiden this month having started at odds of 22-1. Needs a good step forward to find the frame here.
€11,000 2yo (not sold 34,000gns Newmarket January 2020); sister to two winners at 1m/1m2f and half-sister to 1m2f-1m4f winner Quloob, out of a once-raced half-sister to 2,000 Guineas winner Makfi. Lovely pedigree. Market check.

Well held in a maiden over 1m2f here earlier in the month on second start/return from break; not disgraced since in Listed Gowran Park event (80-1, ninth) but she doesn't look up to the Ballydoyle standard so far.

Camacho filly, showed plenty promise last year on testing ground but didn't appear to relish quick going on recent Naas return over a mile; hood added now and needs to improve.

Golden Horn filly, cost €170,000 as a yearling; half-sister to four winners including a Group 3 winner; modest start at this venue (1m2f, good to firm) recently (wore tongue-tie, retained) and needs to improve dropping in trip.

900,000 gns Galileo half-sister to Grade 1 Florida Derby winner Materiality, and US Grade 2 winner My Miss Sophia (both at 1m1f); blinkered and ran a bit green on debut at Leopardstown (1m, good) recently. Headgear off now and respected.
Dam French 9.5f AW 2yo winner, out of 1m2f Group 3 winner from family of Derby winner Erhaab. Others preferred on paper.

By Footstepsinthesand out of a fairly useful 6f-1m winner; 66-1 but finished amongst a few of these re-opposing rivals on debut recently at Leopardstown (1m, good) finishing eighth. Does well to make the frame.

Verdict

A tough Fillies' Maiden to assess and chances can be offered to plenty in truth. BEARBERRY outran her odds on debut when second at Leopardstown and appears the choice of Shane Foley over consistent stablemate Chasing The Dawn now. She gets a tentative vote, though She's Our Queen (fifth) and Aidan O'Brien's Satin And Silk (seventh) are likely improvers having finished behind her last time. Feminism debuted in a strong Naas contest this month and should be competitive; while newcomers Fascinating Falcon and Good View merit further scrutiny.

  3. Satin And Silk
