Ran better than the bare finishing position would suggest when a close-up fifth at Chelmsford (7f; standard). Hinted that the step up to 1m could be just what he needed when rallying close home. High on the shortlist.
Went into many notebooks last time when thundering home late in the day at Lingfield (1m; standard to slow) on handicap debut when not gaining the easiest of runs. Will obviously be hard to beat if reproducing that form.
Shapes as though the step up to 1m will suit and should find this switch to calmer waters easier after running in some warm maidens last year. Makes handicap/seasonal debut and market support should be noted.
Not disgraced on handicap/seasonal debut at Lingfield (1m; standard to slow) but finished behind Motamayiz and is only 1lb better off with that rival so difficult to see him reversing the placings. Should have a future in this sphere though.
Handicap debutante who should appreciate the switch to this lower grade after failing to make any impression in maidens. Needs to offer more encouragement than he has done before faith is placed into him though.
Unable to build on mildly promising handicap debut when down the field at Wolverhampton (7f; standard) recently. Stable in good form but she has too much to prove to recommend as a solid proposition.
Shown glimpses of promise without threatening too much the last twice. Steps back up to 1m but record of 0-19 would recommend extreme caution, and makes him vulnerable for win purposes. Look elsewhere for more viable alternatives.
This represents her first foray into handicap debut as she steps up to 1m. Makes return from 213-day break and will need to improve significantly on previous efforts to feature for all this is an ease in grade.
Hasn't improved for the switch to handicaps and produced another quiet effort when last seen at Wolverhampton (7f; standard). Impossible to make a case for on what he has shown so far and is readily opposed.
Not taken much of a step forward since switched to handicaps and is running out of chances now. Better effort last time at Yarmouth (7f; good to firm) but would need to step up massively on that to feature in this.

This race revolves around Motamayiz whose yard are in good form and he went close to making a winning handicap debut when staying on in eye-catching fashion last time out. However, there isn't likely to be much juice in his price and so a chance is taken on BERKSHIRE PHILLY who ran a similarly promising race on her seasonal reappearance when second and if able to step forward from that she can go one better this time round on her turf debut. The one who could be open to improvement is Striding Edge after he stayed on close to the finish once headed when over 7f earlier in the month.
