Won for previous trainer over 1m at Chelmsford a year ago but form has totally gone since then. Needs to bounce back though career low mark in weaker contest now.
Finally off the mark on the AW last time when springing a 22/1 shock. Proved expensive to follow when last seen on turf but could just be an improved sort.
Both career wins gained at this trip with cut in the ground so drying surface may not be ideal. Should come on for comeback run on the AW recently.
Has always comeback run in the past so entitles to come on for her run at the track a week ago but all 10 wins have been at the minimum trip and has to prove conclusively she is as good at 6f.
Back to form on first run for current yard when caught close home at Yarmouth on comeback and was clear of the remainder. Normal improvement from that would put him in the mix here.
Just the five career starts and another step forward when caught close home by Desert Land at Lingfield. Hasn't been on turf since debut a year ago so bit to prove on that score.
Well backed when behind three of these in a blanket finish at Lingfield last week in rare run under fully fledged rider. Cheekpieces now go on and reunited with 7lb claimer who has yet to break her duck.
Back on his last winning mark and found his best form after a few runs last year so no surprise should he leave his run here last week behind and generally runs well at this venue.
Not beaten far from a high draw at Lingfield last week against three of these. Should come on for that but a worry that his losing run goes back exactly two years.
Generally consistent but blew the start on his last two runs and needs to have that ironed out if he is to get back on track in a competitive contest.
Veteran who is a regular visitor here with four wins and as many places from 18 runs but hasn't won on turf since 2018 and others make more appeal.
Had been absent for 18 months prior to two recent runs since racing came back and hasn't shown enough in either of them to suggest a win is around the corner.
Three wins here including most recent victory in August. Didn't show much on comeback run last week and is also entered 7-00 Windsor Monday.
Regressive maiden who hasn't shown enough in two runs since racing resumed to be of interest from 2lb out of the weights.
Forecasts
Grey Galleon (9/2), Somewhere Secret (5/1), Madrinho (11/2), Soldier's Son (6/1), Desert Land (6/1), Equipped (7/1), Powerful Dream (14/1), Grandstand (20/1), Kinglami (25/1), Fantasy Justifier (28/1), Itsakindamagic (40/1), Showmethewayavrilo (40/1), Shortbackandsides (40/1), Swissal (66/1)
Desert Land finished ahead of three of these at Lingfield last week but isn't sure to confirm that returned to grass with Equipped preferred from that contest, and narrow preference goes to GREY GALLEON who showed enough on first run for Roger Teal to be of interest in an open contest.
- Grey Galleon
- Equipped
- Desert Land
