Won at Catterick and Southwell last season and rated a better horse on the AW. Not disgraced earlier this month on reappearance at Yarmouth and expected to come on for that outing. Eased 1lb but still 3lb higher than only turf success.
Only win in 15 attempts came on debut at Newmarket in 2018 over 7f on soft ground for Charles Hills. Regressive form since then in handicaps but has hinted in three starts for new handler that a small race may be within his reach.
In touch until 2f out on reappearance run before getting tired and dropped 3lb subsequently. Now 2lb lower than last victory at Lingfield on turf last summer but didn't jump out as a winner-in-waiting at Kempton earlier this month.
Only win came here in 5f h'cap last season and hasn't conclusively proved in three previous attempts that he stays this trip. Jockey has 29% strike rate for yard though and with 3lb claim a bold show would not surprise.
Runner-up three times during winter campaign and picked up in similar fashion when second at Chelmsford 5f last week, staying on well. Only turf win came off 69 but that was three years ago but feasibly handicapped if able to build on latest effort.
Hasn't won since October 2017 but has been very lightly raced in recent seasons. Some promise when keeping on first start for nearly a year at Kempton last week and is 20lb lower than last winning mark.
17-race maiden who was having his first start back since being gelded when well beaten at Lingfield recently. Has gone close a few times but didn't do enough last time to suggest he's a player here.
2-42 win record tells its own story but wasn't been disgraced in last two starts when last seen nearly a year ago. Yet to win beyond 5f though and likely to benefit from this outing.
C&D winner in May 2018 and scored here over 5f in August same campaign. Long losing run since but has fallen to realistic mark and showed a bit of dash on return over C&D last week when running from 6lb wrong at weights. Runs off correct mark here.
10-100 starts but not successful on turf since scoring at Brighton 5f off 52 in August 2017. Has won on AW since. Led until inside final hlaf furlong at Lingfield 6f last week when fourth on first run since March.

Forecasts
Fiery Breath (7/2), Red Bravo (7/2), Porto Ferro (4/1), Napping (6/1), Our Man In Havana (15/2), Pastfact (8/1), Tomahawk Ridge (16/1), Fantasy Justifier (16/1), Ask The Guru (22/1), Hey Ho Let's Go (40/1), John Joiner (66/1)
Plenty of these will have made progress since having a first recent run of the season including the mare PORTO FERRO who goes well at this track and ran surprising well from out of the handicap here last week. Off her correct mark now she has a sporting chance. Our Man In Havana shaped well enough last time and Fantasy Justifier has a decent record second time out and didn't run badly at all on his reappearance. Tomahawk Ridge and Pastfact are others worth a second glance.
