Gale Force Ten gelding out of a Celtic Swing mare; never a factor on recent racecourse debut over course and distance recently; plodded on into 5th place but beaten a long way; can improve.

Went off 100/1 chance on debut at Galway in July, coming home in his own time. Hard to make any case for again in first time blinkers/tongue-tie combination.

Cheaply bought gelding; second foal; limited appeal on breeding and only strong market support would suggest he is capable on racecourse debut.

Horse silk
4/5
Gelded son of Kodiac, out of a Noverre mare; no match for winner last week at Gowran Park but plugged on well in the closing stages; should be straighter here and holds every chance.

Iffrajj half-brother to 1m winner Karakour out of a 2-y-o 76f winner; not much effort on recent debut run at Leopardstown; plenty of improvement needed to land this.

Third foal; half-brother to Moyglare Stud (Group 1) winner Skitter Scatter; looks the best of the unraced contestants and may be able to give most of those with experience a beating.

9/1
Cost 100,000 gns yearling, Brazen Beau colt made just one start last season in August when disappointing at the Curragh (beat just one horse from 18 home); obviously open to improvement and interesting to see what the market has to say.

Exceed and Excel gelding, cost 70,000gns as a foal; slight improvement on debut effort last season at Gowran Park earlier this month at the same track; does not look like a winner in waiting at present.

150/1
Gelding by Sea Moon out of a Vale Of York mare. Dam unraced; last of 14 on debut at Gowran Park earlier this month; should improve but unlikely to be good enough.

Forecasts

Frank Arthur (4/5), Moore Street Wise (5/2), Teed Up (8/1), Mostaqqer (9/1), Royal Casamento (10/1), Blue Shadow (25/1), Kartayaz (40/1), Porter Rockwell (50/1), Celtic Force (66/1), Multan (125/1), Tipperary Moon (150/1)

Verdict

This may possibly go the way of newcomer MOORE STREET WISE who is a nicely-bred colt being a half-brother to Group 1 winner Skitter Scatter. Added to the fact, the stable is already among the winners then this son of More Than Ready looks to have an excellent chance. Of those with experience, Frank Arthur showed his well being with a nice run recently at Gowran Park. If showing some improvement for that run the gelding could go well. Mostaqqer is another well-bred contestant and although disappointing on debut last season, may come into his own this year.
  1. Moore Street Wise
  2. Frank Arthur
  3. Mostaqqer
