Made the most of a slightly easier opportunity, ran up to his best when landing a Sandown handicap (5.1f, good/firm) in August. Went with zest on return/stable debut on AW, 6f at Newcastle, forcing the pace, likely to do better.
C&D winner off a much lower mark when enjoying a four-win purple patch in early 2018. Only won once since then (also in the early part of 2019), endured two long absences since then; recent run will have brought him on, talent to get involved.
Course winner for Keith Dalgleish; rather lost his way for that yard last year, rejuvenated immediately for this yard winning 2-2 at Wolverhampton (5.1f). Didn't prove as effective away from the Midlands track, returns from an absence back on turf.
Rather luckless but useful handicapper who despite his long losing run has the ability to win something akin to this. Headgear reappears after a fair reappearance run at Newmarket (6f, good/firm), has won over 5f, off a good mark, shortlisted.
Twice a winner last year at Chester (six-time course winner); he's always been happiest at that venue (only won once away from there). Well held at Haydock when last seen, record fresh is poor and away from Chester his chance is minimal.
Went through 2019 without a win (0-6), won five times at 5f in 2018. Shaped better than the final result would suggest last season, easy to back on return at Haydock (5f, good), needed the run, mark workable; yard still very quiet for most part.
Fairly useful performer, lightly-raced (this just his fourth handicap). Winner of a 6f quick ground novice he's shown that he has the potential to win handicaps such as this, would have needed the run last time, best previous handicap run over 5f.
Really taken off since a wind op/move to this yard winning three from five all on the Fibresand over sprint trips (last two at 5f). Pushed up in grade off an absence for his second turf run (career-high mark) so clearly has something to prove.

Lord Riddiford (3/1), Justanotherbottle (7/2), Eeh Bah Gum (7/2), Wentworth Falls (4/1), Lomu (6/1), National Anthem (7/1), Tanasoq (10/1), Call Me Ginger (12/1), Powerallied (22/1)
An interesting sprint handicap and one of the better races on the card although a few have something to prove. WENTWORTH FALLS to a certain extent caught the eye at Newmarket last time and that run will have brought him on with a few of his rivals having their first run for a while he may have the edge in fitness and he’s undeniably well handicapped. One of the main dangers looks to be Justanotherbottle who has a recent AW run tucked away having gone with plenty of zest last time and the yard took two big sprints at Royal Ascot on Saturday. Lord Riddiford and National Anthem, both in good form when last seen have a little to prove back on turf with Call Me Ginger a potential improver.
- Wentworth Falls
- Justanotherbottle
- Call Me Ginger
