Outstrip colt, winner of only start when a well-backed favourite at Newcastle last October; that sets the standard for the others to aim at, and a big chance of following up under a penalty.
Brazen Beau gelding that wasn't totally disgraced on only start at Newcastle last November, showing a bit of ability; needs plenty more here, though.
Delegator gelding that was sent off a big price on debut at Wolverhampton two weeks ago, showing little; looks to need more time.
Ivawood gelding, slowly away and never in the hunt on debut at Beverley a fortnight ago, beaten 9l; will know more here but best watched unless market says otherwise.
Acclamation gelding, closely related to winning 7f/1m handicapper Salt Whistle Bay, and a half-brother to three other winners; staying will be his forte in time, and he may find things happening a bit quick on debut.
Oasis Dream gelding that has shown little in two starts to date, and may do better once handicpped after today.
Useful form on first two starts last year, and this step up to 7f likely to suit on the visual evidence; below par on final start but if fit on reappearance., looks sure to take a hand in the finish.
Showcasing filly that was always towards the rear on debut at Yarmouth earlier in the month, and you'd struggle to make a solid case for her on that, for all that she may improve.
No more than a glimmer of promise when eighth on debut at York last September; looks the sort to do better this season but may need this run after a break.

Forecasts
High Accolade (11/10), Confide (13/8), Soaring Star (2/1), Willing To Please (6/1), Like Sugar (16/1), Brazen Bolt (16/1), Ricksen (20/1), Katsonis (50/1), Ruby Dream (66/1), Delgrey Boy (150/1), Poco Contante (150/1)
This could revolve around whether CONFIDE takes his chance after winning on his debut on Friday, as he was bred to be decent and despite not making his debut until the age of 4, still looks like he has plenty to offer. If he misses the race then Soaring Star might be the one to take advantage, as he has form on the likely soft surface and looked to have plenty of potential last year. He can take advantage of the 5lb he receives from High Accolade, a narrow winner on debut last October but will need to prove himself on the ground.

- Soaring Star
