Back to form with a battling win at Beverley on Wednesday, a win for which she has picked up a penalty; that less off a worry than the fact she's not that consistent, but clear chance under conditions that suit if in the same form.
Mark has fallen through the floor after a series of poor efforts last year, so goes without saying he's well handicapped now; yet to win at this trip as well, and positives are thin on the ground.
Still a maiden after 11 starts but has shown enough to think there's a race in her, and she ran right to the best of her form at Wolverhampton on her reappearance; has plenty of speed and this sharp 5f might be up her street.
No win in 10 starts but a sharp 5f suits him, and a drop of rain would most definitely be in his favour; has chances if fit for his reappearance today, and one of the more interesting ones.
Winner from a 2lb lower mark at Newcastle last year, but form since then nowhere near as good, and there wasn't a lot to take from his reappearance at Beverley earlier in the week; others readily preferred.
Maiden after 15 starts but has gone close to breaking his duck on more than one occasion; best form to date has come on all-weather surfaces, so something to prove back on turf; risky, but not without some hope.
Trying to make it 85th time lucky today, which rather tells you everything you need to know; has shown some ability at sprint trips but even in a race this weak, she'll almost inevitably find a few too good.
Have to wind the clock back to 2016 to find the last time she won a race, but there was the odd run at Newcastle last year that made you believe she could double her total at some point; no more than place chances here, though.
Has run 15 times without so much as hitting the frame, but there is a glimmer of hope in so much as her best efforts have come at this track, and she seems to go okay fresh; not without hope, despite the fact she's racing from out of the handicap.
Heading towards a century of runs and did actually get his head in front last year, but form since then has taken a turn for the worse and 5f simply looks too sharp for him these days. Hard to fancy.
Had three starts, gone off 100-1 or bigger for all three and has shown very little, too keen for her own good; hard to see where the necessary improvement for this is coming from.

It is fair to say that good form is thin on the ground here, and that, coupled with the possibility of overnight rain, means that stakes need to be kept to a minimum here. Hello Girl would be the obvious start point after her Beverley win in the week, but she's never been the most consistent and she's not guaranteed to put it in again. Swell Song won't get many chances to shed her maiden tag but slow ground would ask a new question of her, and the suggestion is SAMBUCCA SPIRIT, who should handle the likely conditions fine and the yard are starting to fire. If he's fit for his reappearance, this looks a good chance to shed his maiden tag.
