Fasicnating Rock colt who is a half-brother to US 1m winner Paid Admission and minor stakes winner After Market. Not the strongest pedigree on paper and looks the stable's second string. Best watched.

5,000 gns foal who rose to €10,000 as a yearling. By crack miler Excelebration and half-brother to winners between 1m2f and 1m4f, including Atticus Boy. This may be a hot race on debut.
Regal pedigree. Galileo colt. Dam was exceptional juvenile winner Cheveley Park Stakes (6f) before third in 1000 Guineas. Brother to smart juvenile Year of The Tiger. Leading contender on debut.

Forecasts

Southern Cape (11/4), Ides Of August (3/1), Los Andes (4/1), Handel (7/1), Sandhurst (12/1), Noble Seal (14/1), Popular Verdict (14/1), Business Speak (16/1), Sassified (18/1), Bell Ex One (66/1)

Verdict

Another race which offers some cracking pedigrees, preference is for SOUTHERN CAPE to get off the mark on debut. He has a lovely blend of speed and stamina and being out of Tiggy Wiggy, a lot of precocity during his juvenile season should be expected. The Aidan O-Brien-trained duo of Handel and Sandhurst are similarly well-related and the latter is related to a juvenile winner at Royal Ascot. Los Andes represents a yard who have struck with two-year-old's this campaign already while the same can be applied to Ides of August.
  1. Southern Cape
  2. Sandhurst
  3. Los Andes
