Brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 7f (2yo 5.3f winner), dam French maiden. Ran fourth (beaten 8½L) at 14-1 on debut in a weakly contested 6f AW maiden at Lingfield, offered something to work on, better for that experience.
Third on debut the yard have yet to have a 2yo this season despite having a couple of fancied runners. 12-1 on debut over 5.1f at Wolverhampton he made plenty of appeal on pedigree and showed plenty to work on, fair chance stepping up to 6f.
Sole nomination from the stable for the BHA 2yo priority list; ran to a fair level behind The Lir Jet (won Norfolk Stakes, Royal Ascot) at Yarmouth (5.2f, firm). Should go on from this switched to the AW, could get the stable a first 2yo win of 2020.
Was the first 2yo runner of the year for the stable; well supported at Wolverhampton (5.1f, slow) on his initial outing. Showed some ability in amongst the inexperience, finished well held (Shine That Light, third), will come on for that run.
Trainer 0-22 with 2yo debutantes (since 2015); 11,000gns yearling, half-brother to 2yo winner It's Been Noted. Dam 7f-8.3f winner, half-sister to 2yo winner Tongue Twista, gelded, likely to need the experience given yard record with newcomers.
Yard not known for their 2yo's this one being their first juvenile runner of the year. €11,000 yearling, half brother to Martineo (also with this yard). Dam unraced half-sister to Racing Post Trophy winner Crowded House, worth a market check.
First 2yo runner of 2020 for a yard which 0-42 with juvenile newcomers since 2015. 3,000gns yearling, half-brother to 2yo 1m winner Cirencester and 1m (including at 2yo) winner Paparazzi, makes some appeal on pedigree, yard statistics leave doubts.
Trainer has a low strike-rate with newcomers (3-67 since 2015), this will be just the yard's third 2yo runner of the season. Toronado filly taking on the boys for her first outing; half-sister to 1m winner (stayed 1m2f) Cuban Heel, dam 2yo 6f winner.
Forecasts
Enduring (5/2), Shine That Light (5/2), Mitrosonfire (7/2), Dream Chaser (9/2), Onaledge (12/1), Split Elevens (25/1), Spirit Of Rowdown (40/1), Smokey Malone (40/1)
An even split in the modest opener between the once-raced and the newcomers. ENDURING showed some promise when fourth behind The Lir Jet at Yarmouth and that form has received a couple of boosts this week the main one being when the winner took the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. Steps up to 6f and moves onto the AW but that debut effort gives him a good chance. Shine That Light also moves up to 6f and he showed enough on debut to be of interest while both the others to have had a run Dream Chaser and Mitrosonfire have minor claims given their previous experience. None of the newcomers scream to be supported although Split Elevens is worth keeping an eye on in the market.
- Enduring
- Shine That Light
- Mitrosonfire
