Won at Goodwood (1m, heavy) in September but held afterwards and didn't offer a great deal on his return to action here recently. Passed over despite easier ground being a positive.
Seemed to benefit from wind surgery when taking a 7f Ascot handicap last September for Richard Hannon, and ran well when third over C&D on final outing. Starts off for a yard in flying form now, and sure to give a good account.
Back to his last winning mark after a pipe-opener at Newcastle, where he was never nearer. Looks like he could be ready to strike, and is one to note in the betting.
Ex-Australian performer who showed very little for this yard last year in four turf outings. Shaped as though the run was needed on his return from an absence at Newcastle early this month, and may do better now he's eased in the weights.
Won twice on AW early last season, and back to form when not beaten far over 6f here last time on his second start in 24 hours. Now 1lb lower than when beaten in photo here last summer, an ought to go well.
Twice a winner last year and second from this mark over 7f on the July course 11 months ago. Yard is quiet, but he can go well fresh, so dangerous to dismiss.

VENTURA OCEAN, who holds an entry at Redcar on Sunday, shaped as if returning to form last time, and is on the same mark as when winning over this trip on the July course last summer. He makes most appeal ahead of Riviera Nights, who makes his debut for the in-form Roger Varian, and Deep Intrigue.
