Things finally clicked last time and a 5lb rise is unlikely to prove insurmountable. Renews rivalry with Take My Hand who is 3lb better off, but there aren't many in this race who can say they are in form and so he has to be fancied.

Godolphin cast off who ran as could have been expected when sent off 66/1 to finish down the field over 6f at this track. Surprise if this yard were not capable of yielding some improvement out of her but does need to step forward considerably.

Career-best when beaten a neck by Slieve Bearnagh on Monday. Much better off at the weights with that rival so she should reverse the form and go close to shedding her maiden tag at the fifth attempt.

Unable to build on promising effort at Dundalk (7f; standard) on his penultimate start when sent off 11/4f but only managing to finish sixth at Roscommon (7f; good to firm) on Monday. Turned out quickly again, but not one to invest maximum faith in.

Sole career victory came on AW and disappointing reappearance at Leopardstown (7f; good to firm) took his record on the turf to 0-6. Not a safe proposition at all with that in mind, despite the decent form of the stable.

Still looking for first career win after eight starts. This is her first run for new yard and although she has been in and out of form, she would be of more interest if the market spoke in favour of her chances.

Shed maiden tag at the fifth time of asking when just getting up at Roscommon (7f; good to firm). 4lb rise is fair and he is entitled to improve from that given his lightly raced profile and the fact it was his first run for seven months.

Took a major step forward when runner-up to an impressive winner at Gowran Park (1m; good) last week. Still not fully exposed so every chance she could make things click at the eighth attempt if able to back that effort up.

0-9. Eased down when failing to beat a single one of his 13 rivals when making seasonal comeback at Gowran Park (1m; good) recently. Drop in trip will need to work miracles to see him get involved.

Impossible to make a case for given how little he has shown in short career so far. Makes handicap debut but has enough to prove and the yard haven't had a winner for 265 days. Far more appealing alternatives.

Regressive since making winning handicap debut at Ffos Las (6f; good) in September. Poor run of form was emphasised when she was never a factor at Navan (6f; good to firm) last week. Best watched.

Stepped up on previous showings to finish third to Mogwli at Fairyhouse (6f; good to firm) on Monday. Effectively 3lb better off with that rival now and that was his first run for nine months. Step up in trip looks the right move. Solid claims.

Had shown nothing prior to offering reasons to be optimistic when making turf debut on just her second handicap start at Gowran Park (1m; good). Drops in trip and has definite place claims if able to build on that given lightly raced profile.

Made handicap debut just nine days ago off lowly mark after a trio of quiet efforts in maiden company last year. Subsequently best watched after failing to make any impact and needs to show abnormal improvement to feature.

Forecasts

Slieve Bearnagh (5/2), Golden Days (5/1), Kosman (15/2), Sweet Justice (8/1), Take My Hand (9/1), Enchanted One (12/1), Dubai Romance (12/1), Saphiri (16/1), Mogwli (18/1), Philly's Hope (18/1), Miss Sassyboots (33/1), Power Of Lazarus (40/1), Impetuous (40/1), Absolute One Right (50/1), Rominintheglomin (100/1)

Verdict

Best to focus on those who are in good form. Recent Fairyhouse rivals Mowgli and Take My Hand go head to head again and they will be difficult to split once again, though the latter is better off at the weights with the former on this occasion. Sweet Justice was unlucky to bump into such a comfortable winner on his return to action and has place claims as does Philly's Hope. However, for win purposes this rests solely between GOLDEN DAYS and Slieve Bearnagh with the former fancied to reverse placings with the latter given he is considerably better off at the weights this time round after being denied a neck by the Mick Halford-trained runner at the start of the week.
  1. Golden Days
  2. Slieve Bearnagh
  3. Take My Hand
