Successful over C&D in the past and ended last season finished last of seven in a handicap over an extended 5f at Bath (firm) in September. Likely to improve for this seasonal debut.
Ran well when finishing 1L fourth over this trip at Kempton earlier this month when making her first start since February. Races off her 4lb higher turf mark here and is one to note in this contest.
Completed a double when victorious over 5f at Sandown (good) in September and was last seen finishing 3¼L fifth in a handicap over 5f at Wolverhampton in December. Interesting off a mark 3lb higher than for that Sandown triumph.
Well held seventh in an eight runner handicap over this trip at Newcastle in early March. Market support would be notable racing off a mark 1lb higher than when winning over this trip on the AW at Lingfield in December.
Promising 4L sixth in a handicap over this distance at Chelmsford on her return to action earlier this month. Races off the same mark here and is of interest having won over this C&D in the past.
Good second over this trip at Wolverhampton in October but finished well held in two subsequent starts. Worth a check in the market having run well fresh in the past.
In good form for much of last season but suffered a shock 1½L defeat when runner-up in a 5f selling race at Wolverhampton at the end of October. Changed stables since and interesting to see how she fares on seasonal debut.
C&D winner on good-to-firm ground in 2016 but best turf form since including all five turf victories have come at Bath. Well handicapped on his old form but is likely to improve for his seasonal debut.
Twice a winner over this trip last autumn including by ½L at Wolverhampton in October. Held on both subsequent starts but races off her lower turf mark here and market support would be notable.
Course winner ran well for a long way when finishing fifth in a handicap over this trip on his seasonal debut at Newcastle earlier this month. Races off a 1lb lower mark here and is back down to his last winning mark.

Forecasts
Peggie Sue (10/3), Bellevarde (18/5), Chitra (9/2), Somewhere Secret (11/2), Secretfact (10/1), Union Rose (12/1), Pink Flamingo (12/1), Show Me The Bubbly (16/1), Powerful Dream (18/1), Oeil De Tigre (18/1), More Than Likely (66/1)
CHITRA has shown good form on turf in the past and having placed off this mark on turf last year she is taken to make a winning return to this surface by taking this sprint handicap. The selection is making her first start since racing resumed and she can get the better of Peggie Sue who wasn't beaten far at Kempton on her most recent outing while Bellevarde, a previous winner here can take third.
- Chitra
- Peggie Sue
- Bellevarde
