Consistent sort (never finished worse than third), but yet to win a race, handicap newcomer. Progression looked to have stagnated towards the end of her 2yo career, usually likes to race prominently, looks vulnerable to a lightly-raced improver.
Failed to meet market expectations on her third start finishing last of five at Chester (7f, good/soft), never got involved. Promise shown on her first two starts suggests she could hold her own in handicaps off this mark; yard in good form.
Handicap debut; produced his best effort on third start at Nottingham (8.3f, heavy), did well to see the trip out after pulling hard, looked capable of better still. Been gelded over the winter, should prove up to this mark, one to note in market.
Yard know this family well (usually need time and distance); showed promise in all his 2yo starts at up to 1m (not seen away from Kempton). Looks the sort to improve as a 3yo especially stepped up to 1m2f plus with handicaps expected to suit ideally.
Yard couldn't be in better form, beaten odds-on favourite on first two starts but still showed promise despite looking inexperienced. Ran his best race when last seen (1m, Kempton), tries handicaps for first-time, yet to see the best of him.
Fair form so far with his final 2yo run showing him to have the ability to win in this sphere despite not having the chance the market suggested (started 9-4 favourite, finished fifth). Now gelded, he looks fairly weighted for his handicap debut.
Needed her first experience at Kempton (7f), finished just behind two who won their next race and a 3yo handicap winner this year. Sharper next time over same C&D, improved on debut form (had run of race, finished second); type to do better still.
One of the few in this who have handicap experience finishing well held on initial run in this sphere. Failed to look particularly progressive, dropped 2lb, upped in trip for reappearance, will need more to defy this mark against potential improvers.
Fair maiden (0-8), placed on all three starts for this yard (223), back up to this trip last time on AW, failed to get the run of the race. Beaten off a lower mark in all five handicap starts, possibly starting to look vulnerable in this company.

Three-year-old handicaps are never easy to solve and this one with eight making their debuts in this sphere is no exception. Ralph Beckett is 4-8 in 3yo handicaps this year meaning his Dirty Dancer should be respected but the suggestion is SORREL who with just two runs for the handicapper to work with must be very hard to assess, her pedigree giving a strong hint she will be better as a 3yo at this trip. Alan King 2-3 this year in 3yo handicaps saddles Lord Neiden and he can’t be ignored with the family well known to the card. Grand Bazaar and Junkanoo are two others that we are yet to see the best of and any market confidence should be taken note of.
