Failed to show much in a couple of turf runs as a juvenile, but has been raising the bar slightly since entering handicaps and went close at Lingfield (1m, AW) last time. Same mark here, so entitled to claims if transferring that form to turf.
Has finished last on two previous tries on turf, though perhaps both were in a grade that was beyond him. Placed several times on AW over 7f-1m. Gelded since last seen, visor goes on, and he could be competitive if ready after a break.
Not devoid of ability at a minor level in three starts over 6f last year. Since gelded. Returns for handicap debut on a stiff enough mark, but interest would be piqued if the market shows some confidence in his chance.
Showed a modicum of promise on a couple of occasions last season, though well held when last on his nursery debut at Kempton in November. Drops 3lb, but has a bit to prove after that.
Hasn't yet got close to winning, but has shown on a couple of occasions that he might be able to get competitive at this level in handicaps, albeit not on his last two runs. Has a bit to prove on the strength of those.
Showed a couple of bits of minor promise before being well held on his nursery debut last season. Bare form suggests he will need to have improved during his time off to be winning this, but he did bypass an engagement on Wednesday to come here.
Placed in a fast ground Ayr maiden (6f) and a Redcar nursery (6f, good) as a juvenile. Has since posted a couple of moderate AW performances, but returns to turf 4lb lower than that Redcar third, and not ruled out.
Filly whose juvenile form was not up to much and culminated in her finishing last of 13 on her nursery debut at Newcastle last September. Plenty to prove now back on turf.
Posted a couple of respectable efforts to start with last summer (both 7f), but couldn't kick on from there. Held in both handicaps so far, but returns from a break on a workable mark and would be of interest if supported.

Forecasts
Ten Chants (9/4), Blairlogie (4/1), Herbert Pocket (5/1), Poetic Lilly (7/1), On The Right Track (17/2), Rochford (10/1), Puerto Sol (11/1), Fansurper (12/1), Carriage Clock (12/1), Bee Magic (12/1), Gift Of Youth (14/1), Fast Track Flyer (20/1)
A weak race and Ten Chants looks an obvious contender under topweight, while Carriage Clock is not badly treated lower down the racecard and could go close. Puerto Sol is respected, Herbert Pocket would look more interesting if supported, and Rochford enters calculations. However, the suggestion is BLAIRLOGIE, who prefers this to an engagement in midweek and is open to improvement with another winter under his belt.
- Blairlogie
- Ten Chants
- Rochford
